Em’s Homestay — Hotel in Coron

We found Em's place by accident has we were originally in Coron Town. Though we give it a try. It's a bungalow with a few rooms of the main road 1.5km out of town just past the Mc D . It was spotlessly clean the bed comfortable and we stayed 3 nights. The lady taking care was very helpful and we arranged an island tour with JR travel ( did the 1st and 3rd tour absolutely amazing must do) she also arranged a trycicle for our ferry at 5am , the guy had been waiting outside the gate from 4.15am drove very carefully all the way to the port.

We booked for 7d6n coz we were on a budget. If you can get past the entrance where there is chicken coop, then you'll be fine. The location is a little far from the center but everything is walkable. It is near mcdonalds. They allowed us to check in early and upgraded our last night to a family room because the AC stopped working. (The AC was literally frozen in ice). The staff was very helpful, catered to all our needs. There's hot shower, free coffee and drinking water. Towels and toiletries are also provided. Best for budget...

Nicht wie erwartet

Wir hatten uns mehr von unserem Aufenthalt erhofft, vor allem da wir das Deluxe-Zimmer gebucht hatten. Das Positive zuerst: Das Bett war bequem, die Gastgeberin freundlich, und der Wäscheservice war wirklich schnell. Leider endet die Liste der positiven Aspekte hier.

Das Zimmer war keineswegs deluxe. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte unregelmäßig, es war nicht besonders sauber, und die Wände waren so dünn, dass es ab 7 Uhr morgens extrem laut wurde. Zudem schloss die Zimmertür nicht richtig, was die Hellhörigkeit noch verstärkte. Auf der Toilette fehlte die Klobrille, und warmes Wasser war selten verfügbar. Besonders ärgerlich: Am letzten Morgen fiel das Wasser komplett aus, was uns unter Zeitdruck vor unserem Flug ordentlich Stress bereitete.

Insgesamt waren wir enttäuscht, da wir für den Preis deutlich mehr erwartet hatten. Schade, denn das Potenzial für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt wäre...
