My family and I stayed here recently, literally just checked out. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was kind of secluded despite being right in the center of the town proper. It is true to its name, being hidden from plain sight because it isn’t in the main road. The inn was quiet and it was everything you need if you want a nice place to stay at for a reasonable price. Besides, you are coming to Coron for the adventure not to stay in a hotel all day. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. There are plenty of amazing seafood places to eat here in Barangay Poblacion and would recommend Kawayanan Restaurant and Lobster King if you are feeling lavish and want to spend a bit more for seafood. Either way you will not be disappointed.
If you need some laundry service it is also affordable, you will just have to ask the concierge and they will outsource it so be prepared to get your laundry next day.
Overall, we had an amazing and pleasant experience!!! Would recommend this inn and would definitely book her again...
Read moreWe are a couple traveling since several months through SEA.||We stayed a total of 4 nights in Macky’s hidden Inn.||Here is what we didn’t like about the place:||1) it’s comparatively high priced given the value you receive for the same money elsewhere in town||2) A/Cs are very noisy and cannot be properly regulated||3) WiFi is barely working||4) all rooms access a central court into which all A/C a blow, very noisy overall, lights stay on all night (with badly working blackout curtains)||5) several appliances in the bathroom were broken||6) the hotel claims to change the linen in the room every 2 days. This does not happen, even after reminding the personnel||7) no power generator. The current often blacks out in Coron. Most hotels help themselves with generators. We stayed in the dark for almost 2 days||Here is what we liked about the place:||1) centrally located in a “relatively” calm back-court||2) there is a free of charge water dispenser in the shared...
Read moreOur room was located on the ground floor next to the reception which was opened 24/7 and it was quite noisy during the night when new guests were checking in or reception staff was laughing in the morning. There was unlimited coffee/tea and water which is a plus. Signal was poor and wifi as well but that’s something you have to count with in Palawan. Hidden Inn is literally ‘hidden’ (we had problem to find the entrance ). Breakfast was not included but you can pay for breakfast extra and it was okay, offering typical Filipino breakfast, rice eggs pancakes and fruit. One minus -when we get to our place we found out the bathroom door was broken and I locked myself inside the bathroom, they came to fix the bathroom on the 3rd day when we were leaving.. .Our room was spacious and clean, air con was there as well, there is a window with ‘dining room view’.Location of the property on the main road, not far to get to the marine by tricycle. Bars restaurants...
