RedDoorz Plus near Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Davao — Hotel in Davao City

I booked this hotel on the app and it had changed my booking day from Feb 24 to Feb 25. That was not my intention. I noticed this as I was paying and tried to log out before payment was completed but it didnt work. I was booked for Sun Feb 25 but needed Sat Feb 24 to fit my travel plants. I contacted trip.com via chat imeediately and they tried to change the dates for me, not cancel, just move the dates but hotel mgt/owner "refused" claiming this is a not modification booking. Then another rep called them and tried but still they would not help. It was actually more of an app error anyway than me hitting the wrong date! I also checked and their rooms weren’t' full either day, the hotel just didn't care to help me. So, I had to change my travel plans or waste the money for a night's stay. Great location and friendly receptionist! Room was much better than expected (there were a few not-so-good reviews online) - big, clean and cold aircon.Toilet was also just nice size. Overall, great value given the price and location (10 mins walk to Poblacion and Roxas Night Market, but far enough for peace and quiet at night). Would stay here again if I'm in Davao.
