Booked the apartment for a week, paid the supplement for the whole apartment not just an en-suite bedroom. Ours was the ground floor one photographed in the adverts.|Had a problem finding it as no tricycle driver or policeman knew of the street. Its the old name, its now Opal Street as the new sign says. The block looks nothing like the photo now.|Many defects in the property. |The lavatory door could not stay closed as there was no door furniture in the frame. |The basin waste leaks onto your feet and the ceiling drips water on your head from the lavatory above.|The kitchen sink unit is broken up and the waste held in the sink by a stick wedged across the cupboard underneath.|The roller blind in the living area would not stay up so we had to have the light on all the time.|The remote for the Air Con doesn't work, had to climb on a chair to turn it on or off.|The fridge made an alarming grinding noise when we plugged it in but it did start working eventually. The green electric kettle didn't work either.|There is no smoke or fire alarm or sprinkler system in the block of 12 rooms.||We had intended to stay for a month or more as the location was great, a quiet street with no traffic convenient for the shops, mall and restaurants etc. but the dilapidated state of the apartment was too distressing so we left.|On the plus side the linens and bed were OK and it was peaceful once the cockerel next door shut up and the disrespectful neighbour stopped banging.
