Decent authentic Pork Tonkotsu Ramen in Dumaguete for those who crave it.

Lunchtime and Pork Tonkotsu at Ichiraku. Heard the quality of the ramen was one of the best in Dumaguete and so I had to try it.

P230 was good value. P20 extra if it was a take-out so decided to eat in.

Pork - tastes like chashu to me. Noodles - a bit soft and lacked chewiness. Egg - a little overcooked for me (see the dark ring around the yolk, and missing the soft centre - Filipinos prefer really hard-boiled eggs I guess). Soup - excellent authenticity. Portion size - light meal size finished quickly, but 2 portions is too much.

I would definitely return just for the soup alone, which is awesome. One can taste the effort of the long cook length of the pork bone to make the broth. The price is also nearly half that of Botejyu P455, although Botejyu has a slightly larger portion, the soup (tastes more like sopas) is nowhere near as good.

Service was quick, dining area had air-conditioning, no wifi for me to post my review. Meal was finished quickly though.

Wished there were more noodles, perhaps bring in my own to throw into the...

For travelers with a passion for bold flavors, this hidden gem offers an unforgettable culinary experience with its signature hot and spicy Tantanmen ramen and perfectly pan-fried gyoza. The Tantanmen ramen boasts a rich, creamy broth with just the right amount of heat, balanced by tender noodles and savory toppings that create a symphony of flavor in every bite. Paired with the crispy, juicy gyoza, this meal satisfies both the craving for spice and the love for traditional Japanese comfort food. The inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax and indulge after a long day of exploration.

But the experience doesn't stop with the food. This unique spot encourages you to share your adventure on social media, and if you do, you'll be rewarded with a sweet treat—free ice cream! It’s the perfect way to cool off after the fiery ramen, adding a fun and refreshing twist to the meal. With both incredible food and a friendly, social vibe, this restaurant offers an experience that’s as much about connecting with the moment as it is about savoring the...

Their gyoza was 10000000!!! everything's good i can't even imagine can't believe food that tastes as great as this doesn't break the bank. affordable but the quality is superb! i am craving for it while im typing this, once you try you will be hooked.

broth - 100/10 noodles - 100/10

service - friendly and patient staff, they give pwd disc. assisted us well, served all our orders correctly. took about 10-15 mins wait - not so bad (quick service)

atmosphere - decent seats, okay place, and has ac. place is always jam packed so expect to wait a little bit before you are seated.

consistent flavors, fresh ingredients, affordable, easily accessible, and affordable.
