We had the great pleasure of staying at Hotel Lakwa and can't say anything but that it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by incredibly friendly and helpful staff who really went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible.
The staff helped us with everything from organising excursions to smoothly arranging mopeds for us to use to explore the area. It's really noticeable that they are passionate about providing their guests with the best possible service.
The hotel itself is both newly opened and incredibly fresh - a truly top-notch place. The rooms are well-kept and modern, and the common areas give a lovely and inviting feel. We really appreciated the care that has been put into every detail, from the decor to the amenities.
We can highly recommend Hotel Lakwa to anyone looking for a worry-free and first-class stay. Thank you for a memorable experience - we will definitely be back!
See you...
Read moreHighly recommend Lakwa Motel! It is 5 minutes walk from Lio beach and in a much calmer area of El Nido, but still close enough to drive to El Nido town or Nacpan beach with 15/20 minutes. Lio is super beautiful for the beach, sunsets and eating out.
The staff are super accommodating - you get coffee and breakfast provided each morning which was delicious and the option to use a mopped scooter throughout your stay. The scooter was super handy for getting around and exploring El Nido!
The room was modern and clean with a great air conditioner, and in a lovely area which felt safe.
The staff were also responsive and helped organise a boat tour for us and always responded quickly via WhatsApp if we had a question during our stay.
We even saw one of the staff feeding bananas to some monkeys right outside! I hope we can visit again...
Read moreHotel is well maintained with a beautiful design. Free scooter was a winner for us. Yet we didn’t like the ‘zero contact’ approach. We stayed for 5 days - no one ever reached to us to ask if we need anything (like more toilet paper, clear out the trash or change towels) and you don’t really see the crew around. Also, as a guest they tell you you can have a free cup of coffee in the morning but they won’t let you choose alternative milk and when we asked to pay for the gap (60pesos) they said it’s not possible and we should pay full price for a soy milk cappuccino (?)....
