Just popped in for a coffee and opted for the Palawan Horchata (vegan version) with a shot of espresso. It turned out to be the most satisfying and refreshingly light coffee drink I've enjoyed in Lio Beach so far. It’s subtly sweet without being overpowering — which I’d hate. The café itself is charming and minimal, and you can even peek into the bakery to watch them prepare their tempting croissants, sandwiches, and other breakfast and meal options. They have a small communal table for dining in, as well as steps and low stools for seating. However, if the humidity gets to you, the beach is right in front of the cafe and you can sit on the sand right in front of the water.

If you come to Lio Beach (which you should), definitely make this your go-to for morning coffee spot, and remember to bring PHP (Philippine Pesos) as it's a cash-only...

Found this place as we don't like to eat heavy food while at the beach but found that other nearby places are either proper restaurants or vegan only. I'm glad we did as not only the espresso is really good and not overpriced like in the vegan place next door but the juice, the grilled cheese and hands down, the best croissant I had outside of France! 👏 I'm a croissant lover and after 6 months travelling in Asia I've had quite a few in places that can only dream of tasting this good and feeling this crispy. Top notch really! Will come back during the rest of our stay in El Nido!

Last but not least, the girls are so...

Excellent coffee and delicious food, the perfect little spot for breakfast or lunch. I visited every day during my stay, and just wish I was staying longer so I could try more of the menu! The pastries especially are so good. As well as lots of coffee based options they have other interesting drinks and super cute merch! Oat milk is available as well. There's limited seating but you can easily get a takeaway and sit on the beach. Finally, it's always lovely to see a great big pride flag outside and know you're supporting a queer friendly business...

This is not a “hole in the wall” as other reviews have mentioned. This place is a cute cafe! Very laid back “Hawaii” vibes. The pastries are actually baked in house and I was quite surprised! There isn’t much space for dine in (they have a big table inside and a few tiny tables outside on some steps) Service and ambiance were great! We tried the cold brew latte, Cascara Iced Tea (delicious), ham and cheese croissant (they will warm it up), and French toast. Everything was yummy and I am going back today to try more!
