I don’t even know where to begin. This place is PERFECT. My husband and I traveled from Texas, USA.
Rooms: very clean! They have a safe in the room that you can use to store valuable items in. Power went out every night we were there (this is not the resort’s fault, it’s a Siargao thing), they have a power generator that was enough to keep the a/c going. So we never really felt the power go out except for the couple mins it took for the generator to kick in.
Location: it’s close enough to all the restaurants, bars, cafes, and surf shops/rentals, but also away from the busy streets. It was very quiet and peaceful in the area.
Service: by far the best service we’ve ever received! They arranged a van ride to take us from and to the airport. They took care of our motorbike rental for 4 days, we didn’t have to do anything but pay! When we got there, they gave us a very tasty and refreshing drink. Our stay included a free bfast served at the time of your choosing; the food was also amazing. We were greeted with smiles and kindness by staff every single time we see them.
If we go back to Siargao, we’re definitely...

Read moreWe stayed 5 days in Siargao during the rainy season, but our stay was not dampened by any means, thanks to the warmth and radiance of the La Fuga staff. From our arrival to La Fuga, which looks more like a beautiful tropical home than a bed and breakfast, we were treated with so much attentiveness and care. Our rooms were elegantly designed, beds extremely comfortable, and kept very clean. The breakfast menu was top notch with both Filipino and Western classics including freshly made juices and shakes using the fruits of the island. We tried most items on the menu, and every platter was delicious, full of flavour and prepared with care. Although the weather was a bit unstable we were still able to go island hopping and kayaking through the mangroves. Highly recommended! Siargao is a beautiful, unspoilt island paradise worth visiting. And La Fuga is THE place to stay while...
