I know this is a budget hotel, but I’ve been to a lot of cheaper hotels, inns, hostels than this one, and they are great. But Go Hotel rooms need some deep cleaning and repairs! 😅
Constructive criticism (for improvement): Tiles in the bathroom are leaking, water stuck underneath the tiles are causing very bad odor permeating around the room The bathroom smells like pee everywhere. Need deep cleaning The floor tiles near the TV area are leaking in my first room. I requested to be transferred on my 2nd night but got transferred to a different room on my 3rd night (they said rooms are fully booked) The second room’s faucet is functional but not steady The second room where I got transferred is bigger than the first one, but once I entered the room, it smells like pee The shower drain in the second room was clogged. They fixed it the next day The towels are not even white anymore. Dirty white and smelly Pillow cases smell good but you can see marks of dirt 😪 There are obvious big cracks on the wall in the second room All these are stressful because I was so tired from my whole day tour and just wanted to sleep after and relax, but I had to call them always to fix things Spider webs 🥲 Wifi not working
Positive feedback: Lobby area is clean, cozy, smells good (so my expection for my room was like this too) Great staff— friendly, polite, hospitable, responsive, organized 10/10 Aircon is working well. But in the second room it was dripping a little bit Location 10/10. In the heart of city proper. Everything is accessible from here Free water cold and hot 10/10 There’s a big dining table in the common area Big windows, great for sunlight in the morning Socket area beside the bed 10/10
First room 437 Second room 401
In the end, it is up to you if you would like to give this hotel a try. But maybe you can try to book for 1 night at first and if you like it then you can decide to extend your stay.
With little repairs, deep cleaning, and fixing this hotel would...
Read moreI stayed here for more than 10 days during the 24th Philippine University Games (UNIGAMES). The ambience and the interior are (of course) similar with Go Hotels in Robinson's Pioneer, Boni - EDSA, Madaluyong City.
Daily clean up & refill of toiletries which I did not experience in GH Pioneer, Mandaluyong (even without the 'fix my bed' note in the door handle) Courteous and helpful staff - front desk & guards. Towels & comforters are good. Levels higher than other budget hotels in the city. There's a foul smell in the room I stayed in (5th floor) every time I come after the day's work. I did checked if its from my co-staff's clothes or from by belongings but it's not. Idk if it's "luom" or what but it's there. And the smell will haunt you as the smell sticks on your clothes. Tried using the safety vault but there was a problem with inputting new passcode. A staff assisted and I was surprised to see how the staff opened the vault in as easy as using one simple tool inserted in a hole in front of the vault. I'm quite sure I won't be using their vaults for my valuables anymore. Great shower experience. No bath tub in the room I stayed in. The hot and cold options worked well minus the faded H & C symbols in the shower and faucet. No bidet available. No pail & dipper. I didn't try requesting for those, though. No drinking glasses to be used on the sink for tooth brushing or gargling to save water which contradicts their campaign on water conservation. Caught the front desk staff sleeping while on duty but was very honest and courteous to ran away to fix her face and immediately return to apologize and deal with my concerns. There was an available desktop computer for guests' use but had an internet connection problem when I tried using it for flight online check - in. The hotel is strategically located beside the Robinson's Mall. Easy access for grocery needs. There's a Starbucks & 7/11 just...
Read moreI booked GoHotels Iloilo expecting a convenient and comfortable stay. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations.||I chose this hotel because they advertised on-site parking, but to my surprise, it is shared with Robinsons Mall. This made finding a spot difficult, especially during peak hours. Many thanks to the hotel security named SG Eraga, who was the only highlight of my stay—he consistently assisted me whenever I had trouble securing a parking space.||I booked a queen room on the 6th floor, but the room had several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The air conditioner and toilet were leaking, the lavatory faucet was broken, and there were noticeable smudges on the mirror. We reported all of this on the first night, and while maintenance and housekeeping came to check, no real fixes were done—they simply placed a floor mat to catch the dripping water.||The following day, after repeated complaints, they relocated us to a smaller room. While the aircon was working properly this time, the faucet issue and dirty mirror remained, giving a poor impression of the hotel’s cleanliness standards and attention to detail.||What made things worse was the lack of empathy and concern from the front desk when I voiced my dissatisfaction. There was no apology or genuine effort to make things right, which made the experience even more frustrating.||Overall, this stay was disappointing, and due to poor cleanliness, unresolved issues, and indifferent customer service, I will likely not return to this hotel in future...
