The hotel has very good standard of cleanliness and sanitation. The rooms are fairly large for the Premier and Executive and smaller for Econo, but compared to cheap and shabby hotels, this is worth every peso. There is hot and cold shower, TV. Clean Towels. toiletries, complimentary bottled water and room service 24/7. The Supervisor was incredibly accommodating to all my queries and suggestions and even gave me two discount cards for their Premier and Executive rooms. I've not used them but kept them as a sweet gesture from the management team. The prices vary and can go for as much as 40-50$ a night. But you have hourly options if you are on the move from 3 hours to 24 hours. Hourly extensions are charged at very fair prices for more or less 3$. There is good teamwork and the staff personnel are ready to meet guests with warm greetings and are the most hospitable among all the short time hotels that I've been to so far. Since I travel on my own,  I look for the most secure places whether it be a Hotel,  Hostel, Dorm or other sort of accomodation. They have CCTV Security Cameras. Premier and Executive rooms have safety boxes. Location-wise, it is not that central and can be hard to find if you are a new tourist but taxis and motorbike services are easily accessible. There are many shops alongside for local snacks, but avoid unfamiliar dishes that might cause allergic reactions. The area abounds with Muslim  and local merchants selling clothes, affordable low-end or imitation-brand stuff and apparels. It can be crowded but fairly organized and the people are generally respectful and ambient. It is a 3-4-Star Hotel with a 5-Star Hospitality rating.

Giving a 4 star rating because it fits my current accommodation needs! It's close to our Makati office, it has a secure parking at the basement, checking in has been convenient during weekday mornings, I got a VIP member discount, some menu items are FREE if not delivered within 10mins, you don't get to pay extra electricity/water bill unlike apartment or condo rentals, WiFi is free, I get a good night sleep all the time and they also have a feedback process to make sure customers are heard by the owner! Except for the very steep parking ramp to the basement and some noisy instances from the hotel staff, indeed, this place is "so clean, so good!"

Very accessible as it is along EDSA. We booked a room here during a typhoon. The room where we stayed was okay, at least as far as ambiance and cleanliness is concerned. Also maybe because we got the more expensive room. The downside to this hotel was i think the walls or sound proofing? During our stay, we can hear a moaning of a girl in the other room, lol 😁. We thought she was having a great time, haha

Been checking-in many times in their different branches until a certain incident last night that made me realized never ever to enter Sogo Hotel anymore.||||– Isn’t this some kind of weird coincidence or some kind of deceiving sales and marketing strategies? Your Econo, Regular and Deluxe rooms are always not available. ||– Courtesy call must be done at the convenience of the guest otherwise it depicts the purpose of your phone in the room if you will just ask them to call you even if you’re the one with concern to them.||– Inconsistent and No-Nonsense Policy ||||a. Joiners/additional guests or visitors – there is always exception to the rule, this can be negotiated especially if the guest insisted and won’t endanger the reputation of your company and lives of other guests. Would you say no to VIP’s, Politicians, Celebrities and Dignitaries asking favor of access to their personal guests? I don’t think so. ||||b. ID for Verification – any other option in case your guest or visitors don’t have ID aside from saying “No”? In your EDSA, Guadalupe, Makati Branch they will say “No” as per Sogo policy which they can’t even prove because according to Mr. Raymond Tamboong, it was verbally mentioned to him by his superiors. A policy and yet no hard copy as a proof? What if in case the guest verified the identity of the visitor isn’t that enough? A visitor can also log his/her identity to your security while all of your CCTV cameras are taking their photos. You can also call the guest in their room if the visitor is leaving. Isn’t this enough? Aren’t there any options which will both be beneficial to your company and the guests? ||||c. Refund Policy – no matter how small the amount but considering the humiliation, I do expect a refund, an apology and a sanction must be given to your incompetent staff handling my case. I haven’t use the room yet and to think all these dilemma happened to me and yet you have the audacity to forfeit my payment. ||||d. Customer Service – the attitude and the way your staff in EDSA, Guadalupe, Makati Branch handle my case speaks your poor training. This include handling of your social media accounts. ||||From someone positioning themselves to be a hotel, clearly you are far...

All the staffs were very courteous and friendly. All my request were fulfilled.

However: 1st They put me in 7th floor its fine but it was surrounded by service elevators my entire stay I can hear the elevators moving and banging on my wooden wall.

2nd Since I was on a wooden wall, I can hear the workers talking outside upto the point they're fighting and swearing loudly. I reported it but it happened again twice so I just let it go. I just told myself it's just 2 nights.

3rd For some reason the carpeted floor outside my door is very wet. That when you step on it the water will go inside my room.

4th Why is the bidet in my washroom on the left? This is fine but most people are right handed. But I guess, it's because the room is small and so does the washroom. I was before (years ago) put in deluxe room but it was way bigger, for 2 weeks. That's why I choose Sogo Guadalupe to stay again when I came back from Philippines.

5th It seems that they don't know about my booking. On my first day they thought I was checked in for one day and they sent someone to wake me up because it's time for me to check out. I had to tell the guy I am booked for 3 days, 2 nights. They have to check my booking number twice, even upon my check out since I checked out early because my flight...
