Choobi Choobi — Restaurant in Mandaue

My Fave is their 1lb Shrimp in a bag - so far just solely for this I will hand them the perfect 5 Stars Rating! The shrimps are huge, big, plump and very fresh.Of all the Choobi branches in Cebu and I mean I have been to every branch in the island - this one has the best shrimp by far. And also the Cha Tao Miao is impeccably great as it is super fresh, garlicky & not overly cooked - just the way I instructed the waitress. This may not be an airconditioned branch but best if you visit them around dinner so you can feel the natural cool breeze of ParkMall as it is in the 2nd floor. And I think they can accommodate more than 3-4X their usual Mall branch! Wow the place is spacious. Service is fast and all the waiter/s are attentive! Just expect at times when its a full house that cooking+serving time may be affected but overall this branch is their best as to my personal opinion. Did I mention it is super clean and I appreciate that you can see their kitchen while your food is cooked...

On holiday, first time to dine in with family. Ordered seafood barkada, served with unopened mussels, raised concerns to waitress. According to waitress, “ they had the same problem as yesterday”, she will discuss it with it the chef. We waited for a while, asked two other waiters to follow up our concern, then eventually, the manager approached us, he provided us with explaination that its meant to be opened prior to cooking, however a different person handled it tonight. To my opinion, it was unacceptable as no action was done to rectified our concern. Hence, we waited for ages before receiving our change. Just as others review. Don't visit this choobi choobi branch. this is far the worst branch in Cebu. Worst in customer service and handling.

We fully understood that the waiter was an intern but should have been supervised by a tenure waiter. There were so many missing order and we have to wait longer that those who have bren served by tenured waiter.

what is worst they gave us the wrong shrimp order. ordered salted egg shrimp initially and since the intern made a mistake they just turned around and let us know that they dont have "salted shrimp" but when i asked the other waiter if they have salted shrimp and they said "yes" just want to hide their mistakes
