Dimsum Break — Restaurant in Mandaue

This is our favorite restaurant to buy breakfast from when in Parkmall. You can bring your little ones (puppy dogs) outside to dine with you! ;)

They open earlier than most restaurants around Parkmall in the morning and offers a great view of the grassy lawn area. Outside area gets warmer around 8am though. in that case, you might want to get inside where air conditioning is so-so. Strictly no pets allowed inside, as with every restaurant in Parkmall.

I would definitely keep coming back here if I have the time, and recommend this to anybody visiting the area. We always buy the value meal 1 (spicy version). However, if you order the Spicy steamed fried rice at night, they probably got sold out already. In that case, the regular one [Steamed Fried Rice bowl] is almost always available.

This restaurant sold me rests of chicken feets that were actually bad and tasting like they were made a days ago and mixed with a new sauce, the chicken was clearly not good to sell anymore, I even tried to eat it to don't throw it away immediately just by the look of it but the taste was very disgusting. This is very unfair and a waist of money. It's so sad that some restaurants do sell old food and also with absolutely no shame expired food sometimes to earn a few...

Dimsum Break never disappoints! I finally had the Oriental Value Meal 4 again—my all-time favorite. The savory steam rice with just the right spice, paired with tasty sides, brought back comforting flavors I missed. It’s a satisfying, flavorful combo that’s always worth the wait. Definitely a go-to meal!
