Bayfront Hotel Subic bay — Hotel in Olongapo

my boy friend and I went there to check in for 3 or 4 times already . but because of the RUDE EMPLOYEE we encountered the last time we check in there , I can tell that we will never ever go there again , Yes ,we made a mistake my boyfriend smoke inside the room which is not allowed. they noticed it when we check out (he always smoke during our stayed there they just noticed it only that time) my bf asked about the rules but this rude employee increase his voice to him, that cause tension to both of them. maybe he forgot that we were still the hotel guest . then the rude employee said he will call a police so that the police can explain to us , then few minutes later while waiting for the police (yes we were willing to wait for the police to explain it to us because the rude employee/guard was so arrogant to us . we rather speak to police than to talk to arrogant employee ) he asked for my bf id to got a photocopy of it then he got the plate # then told us that we can go without paying the penalty but he will report my bf because the police was busy and couldn't go there.||FYI WE ARE WILLING TO PAY THE PENALTY , MY BF JUST WANT AN ANSWER FOR HIS QUESTION, BUT because of this ARROGANT EMPLOYEE who wasted our time was so RUDE to my bf he even told in tagalog that "KUNG PWEDE LANG MANAPAK GINAWA KO NA" in english (IF ONLY I CAN HIT/PUNCH HIM I WILL DO THAT) ahm excuse me we already pay the penalty(2,000PHP) why did he need to tell that .||and lastly||we didn't even complaint about the bad smell of the head board ah , and the room didn't even look clean . my god ! then they will treat us like that !!!||P.S :||THEY SAID THAT THE 2,000 IS FOR THE GENERAL CLEANING OF THE ROOM because of the smoke. well EVEN IF YOU SMOKE OR NOT THE ROOM WAS SMELL BAD ALREADY SPECIAL...

I should have wrote this before and maybe I forgot to have done this previously. As I sit in this room right now I'm at least greate-ful that the staff is nice. And that the aircon at least works. But, the sad reality is that the staff feels like the best way to resolve a situation is to just have people change rooms. It's been over 3 hours and they still haven't fixed the internet.

The excuse is because of the weather. But, anyone who works in the IT field knows that internet is not effected by weather unless the signal is not from a direct modem. I came into a room that had no sheets on the bed, and a disgusting blanket that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. They sent a replacement blanket that has cigarette burns in them. GROSS AGAIN!

The rooms wouldn't cost much to renovate but the insides of these places needs to be renovated badly! There is no maintainers available to fix issues. The desk looks like they are about to fall apart, and the walls inside the closet look like they haven't been clean in months.

I don't recommend this place at all, unless you literally just need to sleep for a night and leave. Look at the reviews across the internet the ownership or management has not done anything to fix any of these issues that I'm bringing up, there's no real desire to fix these things as this is years of disastrous upkeep by management...

It was very stressfull stay at Bayfront from May 11-13, 2023. Two sleepless night due to the following. We were transferred to 3 different rooms due to the following reasons. Room 213 had a very annoying noisy AC Unit. Then we moved to Room 212 that has a leaking AC Unit. The bathroom plumbing had a water hammer which causes another annoying sound. It also has leaky bathroom closet and shower. At midnight we had to moved again to Room 107. The AC Unit is so cold even if I set the temperature to 32 degrees Celsius. It is also has an annoying noise which extremely bothered us for the night. Another sleepless night. This hotel has a very poor maintenance. In addition, the menu at the restaurant is not in accordance with what they had listed in their brochure. Boiled eggs instead of eggs to order, adobo/asado both pork meals both Friday and Saturday morning breakfast dishes. My wish for a pleasant vacation turn into a disastrous ordeal. My rating for this hotel is UNSATISFACTORY and I would not recommend it to future customers. I hope this critique will help the management to improve their facilities. I am confident we are not the only customer who complained with this...
