It was honestly one of the most phenomenal experiences I have had, and highly recommend going if you have the opportunity.

The establishment’s inner architecture is elegant, earthy and classically minimalist without any lacking. I received warm greeting from everyone upon entering and the smell of fresh baked cookies. The owners are incredibly engaged in their business and the staff are extremely experienced under their leadership. I purchased one of their pour-over sets and when I asked how to use it, the staff gave me an impromptu course on how to properly prepare, consistently what is, what I would consider to be the best brews I have had. All the while, the owner answered all my questions and even explained to me what to expect from each type of: roast, bean, grain size, typical water temperature. An exceptionally adept crew and an incredible group people providing craft.

Lastly I have recently had their food and it is bar none, amazing. I cannot emphasize enough how delicious it was.

The first coffee shop I visited when I got to Subic and boy did they set the bar high for the rest. The Kuraso Filter Coffee selection which is the pour over is my go-to here. Honey Oat Lavender Latte smells so good. Lets not talk about the cookies especially the chunky Ube. It was so good I ended up buying a box of assorted cookies to munch on. Its a specialty coffee shop category and the setup is pretty impressive. The branding, store aesthetics, to the coffee beans, all the way to the operations, training and services has a polished well thought of touch. The shop actually has a Japanese vibe and seems to be quite appealing to the oversea tourist in the area. The staff is friendly and very efficient. Parking is available in front of the store but there is a bigger parking area at the back. Its a pet friendly store with 2 sections of al fresco area at the back. I do have to warn you about the big dog lounging in the shop. The giant poodle is absolutely huge and adorable.
