First time to eat here with the family. Samgyupsals(SG) are a dime a dozen nowadays. To find something that fits what you look for in a SG place is special. Yakiniku is basically a Korean SG place with a Japanese name. They might advertise other items on their menu, but people who go here come here for one thing - SG. The pork cuts are thick, the beef is decent, and the side dishes are delicious. Their soup is very good as well as their steamed egg dish. The service was on point as well. On top of all that, if you eat at the al fresco area, you get not a great view of the beach, but at least you get a view of it. I gave it a 4 stars for food only because it still could be better. Regardless, it's already good. Overall, good experience. Will be back when I'm in Subic again.

This place has spicy pork bulgogi as one of the banchans or appetizers (which they have a pretty good selection of) you could eat until your stomach can’t handle it anymore. That dish alone costs a lot on other Korean restaurants but not on Yakiniku. Their unlimited meat fests; pork, beef and the combination of the two, come with piping-hot doenjjang jjigae and steaming fluffy egg. Aside from their grill-all-you-can offerings, they have a separate menu for Korean and Japanese entrees. And if you could still squeeze in a few more bites and craving something sweet, they have a chest freezer full of the classic Korean ice creams like Melona and Samanco fish-shaped ice cream. One small note though, I hope spicy dishes are actually spicy. They weren’t.

Samgyup with a bang! I really love the taste of food here in Yakiniku! Of all of the never ending ever present Samgyupsals wherever I go, their side dishes are the best I have ever savored! Before going home after a seminar, our superior and we chose to eat in this resto. We were few of the first guests. We opted to stay al fresco as we'd like to take pictures of the bay. They of course served first the side dishes, and well I enjoyed eating to my hearts content. No need to elaborate, but all of the side dishes are worth your money. We finished only 2 platter orders of beef/pork because we got easily satisfied and full. Come, visit tgis place when go here in Subic.

The fvcking boss was so rude and unprofessional. They only want money, but they do not value their customers. We were really disrespected and that was the worst experience we ever had in all the Samgyupsal restaurants that we had. We arrived at around 10:40pm, and we immediately asked what time they would close. They said 12am. Unfortunately, after just having a few minutes in the restaurant, an employee already asked us to pay even though we haven't started eating yet. We just paid. After a couple of plates, another staff gave us a plate and told us that it would be the last one since they would close. Take note, that was not even 11:30pm. We already agreed to just finish the last plate that they gave. What's disturbing and disrespecting was all of them, including the boss and the employees are looking at us and it felt like we really had to go out and finish the fvcking food. We were treated like we were stray dogs that they were waiting to finish and shoo away.

When a Korean customer was drinking alone, the Korean boss didn't mind. After that Korean customer left, they also asked us to finish things immediately. What's bad also was the food. The side dishes were awful. The jelly was spoiled and there were a lot of cats inside that bothered us. What the hell! We paid well and we were just treated like trashes. Fvck that store!

Not to mention, this restaurant also pays their employee under the minimum wage for a 6-8hrs of work. I don't mind. But, one thing is clear, they do have a...

First of all, I will talk about the name since it may be misleading to some people. Yakiniku is a Japanese, yet this is a Korean restaurant, so don’t get confused.

Next, they’ve changed their menu. Before, you choose a set, and it will be unlimited everything -meat, side dishes. Now, the menu is quite confusing, and the waitresses has a hard time explaining at times when you ask questions. They are very nice though. You just have to be patient. Last time we were there, my friend and I both ordered set menu B that says 350php per head it’s 1 order of samgyeopsal and 1 order of pork bbq. Little did we know that the particular set is good for 2 people and it’s 700 pesos and we only get 1 order of both the samgyeopsal and pork bbq. Not the one each we thought we would get. So if I’m dining alone, I have to pay 700? But it says 350 per head. I really don’t get it, and the waitress was not able to explain it well. It’s good to know that the side dishes are unlimited. The food is not bad, but I’ve definitely had better. I guess I...
