Below are my pros and cons for Hotel Ava:||Pros:|1) Good location. near public transportation (bus station, gil puyat lrt station, jeepneys, etc.). Also near MOA. 1 tricycle or jeep away.|2) Overall clean room including the bathroom. Lots of lights and mirrors because it's a motel. Has study table|3) aircon is good (window air conditioner type). Room is cold. |4) TV has cable so you could watch some movies.|5) They have toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush), paper cup for hot/cold water, soap, shampoo, towel, two sets of slippers, shower heater, two bottled water|6) This is a motel so you can check-in anytime and they informed me that checkout is 24 hours. |7) lots of restaurants nearby so it's cheaper to eat.|8)Multiple electric outlets. There's a one universal so it's a plus. ||||Cons:|1) has safety deposit box but not working.|2) Since this is a motel, everytime you go out, the front desk will ask you if you are a guest or not. So you always need to say that you have a room. It's like asking your parent's/guardian's permission to go out. |3) Only 1 keycard|4) Thin bedsheet. The mattress and blanket is average. Not good. Not that bad.|5) Bathroom is seriously slippery. You need to be extra careful because this part of the room seems to be accident prone. I only stayed for a night but I slipped like 6 times in the bathroom door if I'm not mistaken. By the way, I was using their slippers. |6) No water...
Read moreAside from the fact that you can make love any way you want, there is more than just sex that completes our regular visit to VC. ||||Eversince smoking ban happened, we never went back to doing paperworks and research in our favorite coffeeshop, because the way I do it is by cramming with coffee and cigarettes. But hey, motels have ashtrays but not all have wifi :) Thanks to Victoria Court where you can do everything without feeling guilty or being treated like a criminal(for anti smokers hello!). In VC you can watch porn, make love, have a bubble bath, book a couple massage and then after that, my babe can either sleep or play his candy crush or watch movies in HBO while I finish my due papers, we can order food, drinks and snacks, the best part, we can smoke and there's a wifi. We even have our own ash trays. ||||We always bring our own Room and Linen Spray to eliminate that cigarette smell in the room. Another thing we always bring is VC's very own Black Card - of course, for discount! ||||Have I mentioned that this hotel is sustainable? yes, they use dispensers of their all-in-one shampoo conditioner and body wash and it smells soooo goooddd.||||The only thing I like to suggest is to have robes available for suite rooms because - come one guys, jacuzzi!||||hashtag I love VC - from...
Read moreWhen you arrive there, do not go looking for a fancy reception area - there isn't one! Guests are greeted in the lane way and cards and money are passed through a small glass window.||Now that's going to make you wonder about the room you are going to get, especially when you saw the rooms advertised online.||Shock! Horror! The rooms are exactly as depicted in the photos online. Spacious, lots of places to put clothes, bags, etc. Clean bathroom with hot water. And the mirrors on the ceiling? Well, each to his own.||There is a large menu and everything is served in your room.||No coffee making facilities, but ring reception, and either a brewed or instant coffee is brought to your room.||The location of the hotel, a little hard to find if the taxi driver is not familiar with it, makes it quiet and peaceful. No traffic noise at all.||When you go out onto A.Luna street and walk towards the Atrium hotel, there's a door just to the side entrance of the Atrium where you can walk through a small market place like shopping centre as a shortcut to the main road, street. Jollibee and a couple of other eating...
