What we expected to be a fun night turned into a stressful disaster. We went to Chill Along and had to wait 20 minutes for a room even though there were plenty of vacant ones. The staff and cashier were all unattentive and rude.
After going up and down the 4th and 5th floors multiple times, we were finally given a very dirty room. We shrugged it off since we already want to start the night. Upon entering, we were told that the rate was ₱250 per head (We were 6 people). We were also informed that extensions cost ₱150 per person per hour.
The microphones weren’t working properly, there was no remote, and we had to wait 20 minutes just to place a food order. It took another 30-40 minutes for the food to be served. The room's charge is consummable so we just limited our orders to what we thought is only 2, 400 (1,500 for first two hours and 900 for the 1 hr extenstion)
When it was time to pay, they overcharged us claiming the room cost ₱2,500, plus ₱1,200 for the extension—a complete contradiction to what we were told initially (supposed to be 1500 for first two hours and 900 for the 1 hr extension).
This place is a total scam and also very dirty (dugyot). Save your time and money,...
Read moreThe food here is actually not so delicious. We ordered porkchop and it's not tender; their fries is just like what you buy in the street; the mango juice taste like Tempra (the one that sick children take) and it's very disappointing. Their rooms are not even sound proof, you can hear what other people are singing in your neighboring rooms.
But what I liked here is their videoke - the big flatscreen tv and the good registration of your voice in the mic going to the output medium. And the ambiance of the place, you can really feel relaxness. Also, I like the idea of putting this bar on the top of a building (in all their branches). Furthermore, they have nice personnel - particularly in this branch.
I just hope that they will improve the taste of the foods...
Read moreThe rooftop vibes of this Chilltop branch is something that you'd go for.
Chilltop is a popular place for young Filipinos to chill and drink with their friends. With the attainable price of drink (600-800) and foods, this is a no-brainer choice for celebrations for people around Manila, Pasay and Makati.
As you enter their building, you'll notice that on one of the floors, has a Padi's Point that opens around 9:00 PM where the party starts.
Overall, everything feel mediocre. I remember visiting this place multiple times with gaps on month where the same music (Chris Brown, I Belong To The Zoo, something similar) is played throughout each day. Yes! There's a TV with YouTube playing on...
