Mindorinne Oriental Beach Resort — Hotel in Puerto Galera

Terrible condition of property, extremely dirty. Toilets don't flush properly. No water pressure. TV's are old tube style ones and are in disrepair. They have noisy squeaky gates on the property that get opened and closed through all hours. Originally booked Deluxe A room as it showed 2 double beds however they only gave us a queen. Tiles in the section of the hotel were missing and they decided it was a good time to start installing them with guests staying in the hotel, had to hop between patched of wet cement and adhesive until they finally offered to relocate us to another room.

The premier deluxe room they moved us to looked better initially but it is in worse shape then the Deluxe A room and with no good views of anything.

Staff overall are very friendly and helpful, however the owners are letting the place fall apart and it looks like they are just interested in getting paid instead of providing a good experience to guests. We viewed many other accommodations in the white beach area while we were staying here and they all look way better then the Mindorinne and all for much cheaper.

The breakfast is decent, the views from the east facing rooms of the deluxe A suits are nice however I would never stay there again and would heavily recommend people do not book here unless they see the condition of the room and examine it in person. Not...

There had been a lot of negative reviews posted here we almost changed our minds about mindorinne but when we arrived at the place and experienced it ourselves, we wondered why other visitors had negative things to say when in fact, mindorinne is far better than the other accommodations in white beach - good location (right n d middle section of the resort, pretty much like station 2 of boracay), spacious property (unlike the others which obviously tried to maximize the use of every piece of land available for more rooms making their place too crowded), big room (we stayed in a room for two and there was a lot of space to move around), good a/c, clean ang big enough toilet and bath with hot and cold shower, the tv may be old but it is functioning (who needs a wide screen anyway when you are out of your room most of the time enjoying the activities of the resort, right?), no wi-fi available during our visit because the entire province was recently ravaged by typhoon nona. Booked a deluxe room for 1 night on Jan 31. The room was big, clean and modern looking (kinda like a 4 star hotel room). The bathroom was clean and has hot water. It was Sunday and there were almost no other guest so it was very quiet. We got the room for 2k only (different rate for fri-sat) which included a plated breakfast which tasted and looked good. Its a beachfront hotel and is situated pretty much on the middle part of white beach so only a few walks to all other beachfront establishments. The staff was very accommodating specially the receptionist. We wanted to do another activity on our checkout date but we woke up late. The receptionist extended our stay for 2 hours more for free which was supposed to be 300 per additional hour. I think it was only possible because there were only a few guest, but still it was an awesome gesture and I'm really thankful for it. She even arranged a person to help carry our luggage and get us to the boat ticketing area. If i ever go back to white beach, I will definitely stay again at Mindorinne Oriental...
