We travel a lot, domestic and overseas with family, colleagues and friends, but La Belle is the worst hotel that we had experience. We are in a group of 17 pax who trusted to book our accommodation and underground river tour in this hotel but we were not treated right by this receptionist named Paul.We all came from El Nido trip and was so tired, some were dizzy, vomitting and not really feeling well, but instead of giving me the room keys when we checked in,Paul insisted that he has to discuss something to the group, told him about the situation and advised that i will be the one to discuss it,whatever it is,but Paul insisted that it won't take long and to our surprise,he discussed house rules, what ???? This is the only hotel i've ever experienced discussing house rules before they let their guest rest.He even knocks in our room to collect the remaining balance of the bill a day before our check out time,he only cares about the money and not providing good customer experience. The room AC is not cold, instead of fixing it,they gave an electric fan .We are paying for airconditioned room and not a fan room Paul.Their location is not convenient,it's far fr rizal ave where there's a lot of resto. Our bathroom is flooding as their drainage is not working properly. The pool is small and was divided into 4 and 7 feet and you can only swim til 10pm.Paul is the worst staff in that hotel,he did not give the free breakfast to some of my group as they have fly back to manila early and told us they can only cook breakfast at exactly 6am.He wants the guest to adjust to his rules and not bend it to give an excellent service to his guest like Balai Felicisima did.We did not use the free pick up in the airport but just used the drop off but didn't want to bring of one member our group alone as she has a later flight, per Paul, the van has been used by some of my team. This hotel is not recommendable, the receptionist acts as if it is a five star hotel when it is only a pension house. We are paying your hotel for you to get paid, you should know how to take care of your guest.Calling the attention of the owner of this hotel to train your receptionist on how to treat people right. We are the customer so do not act as if u...
Read moreWe (a group of 9) had a wonderful experience in this pension house - from reservations to checkout.||||All their staff are nice and accommodating, especially Ethiel who arranged our trip for us. We availed of a 4D/3N tour package which includes city tour, Underground River tour, and Honda Bay island hopping. Everything was well coordinated, and all goes well according to the planned itinerary.||||Upon arrival from the airport, we were greeted by Ethiel and the van driver. They gave each of us a 'welcome necklace' made of shells. They also already gave us an overview of the city while on our way to La Belle.||||When we arrived at the reception area, they gave us welcome drinks as Paul discussed some house rules. Contrary to the other reviews, I find Paul accommodating like the other staff - he's just discussing house rules as part of his job, and it doesn't even take 5 mins!||||We had three deluxe rooms with one queen-sized bed each. The rooms are big enough to fit another two folding bed. It also has a balcony with table and chairs. Towels and bath soap are also provided.||||They only have limited options for breakfast (longganisa, hotdog, tocino or dangit with rice and egg - not sure if they offer bread). What I didn't like was that we were woken up at 10:30pm on our first night just so they could get our orders for the next day's breakfast. They should've done it earlier to avoid disturbing our sleep. But I think it was only a one-off event and didn't happen again on our next nights.||||Drinking water is available at the dining area. You can also buy raw food and ask them to cook for you with an extra charge. Or grill it by the swimming pool for free. There is a cottage beside the swimming pool where you can eat.||||Most establishments are accessible from the pension house via tricycle. It's in the middle of the city, but not in front of the main road so it's really quiet and relaxing.||||Swimming pool is small but nice and clean. If you have a child with you, better bring a floater since water is mostly deep (4ft-7ft).||||Overall, it was a very good and hassle-free trip. Highly recommended pension house. We'll stay here again if ever given a chance to visit Puerto...
Read moreIt is more of a resort with beautiful surroundings and a swimming pool. ||||We were tired from our long journey so paid 250PPS for an airport pickup. You could get a tricycle for much cheaper. ||||The standard room is an adequate size. The walls are covered in plastic which may contribute to the high room temperature. The aircon unit worked very well. It was nice and quiet. ||||The bathroom was small. Cold water in the sink but good hot water in the shower. ||||The WiFi worked OK. ||||The breakfast is poor. It has to be ordered the day before. The coffee is poor quality, sickly sweet 3-1 sachets. This seems to be the norm in the Philippines but even black instant would be preferable. We ordered scrambled eggs but got an omelette. ||||We booked a van to El Nido but found that most tourists on the van paid much less...
