JohnLhea Beach & Cottages — Hotel in San Juan

Do not be misled by the photos of cottages. They are not good.||The rest of the "accommodation" is terrible, awful and not safe.||The whole place is a dump since the owner John died it has been allowed to fall into disrepair. The once neat grounds are completely overgrown, the drive is treacherous to walk down and there is no security at all.||Nor is there any water most of the time For a shower, get up in the middle of the night and maybe you can shower.||The rooms are depressingly awful, constantly wet floors due to leaking waste pipes and lavatories, no lavatory seats, no aircon and overall not worth the money. ||There is nothing on site, not even drinking water. No room cleaning until you leave!||The Vibrations dive center on site is separate, they don't want to even speak to you unless you are spending money with them diving, A surly miserable place.||The rooms are mostly used by rowdies, drunks, druggies, mental disabled or prostitutes.||If you value your health, safety and peace of mind do not even think of staying in what is probably the worst place on Siquijor island, certainly the worst that we have found in...

A great little place in San Juan. Keep in mind there is not much in San Juan. A short walk to a store and the Baha Bar.

Even though I booked the Fan only room it was comfortable and no problem sleeping.

Staff was friendly. A small breakfast was provided each day. When we asked what time breakfast was served they responded "when ever you want it" :)

They also organized motorbike rentals for us, which I recommend.

Also keep in mind that the closest ATM is back in the town that the ferry dropped you off...

We booked a room and pay extra money to have an AC , the AC was not working, the shower has no hot water 24/7, the toilet were broken. we asked to switch rooms, when we arrive to the other room the shower was not working at all, and the water from the sink were brown the pillows were made from foam and you can hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms. over all the place is very sketchy, broken and dirty we had a very very bad experience at...
