Minas Place — Hotel in Tacloban

If you don’t have another option, this hotel would be ur choice. Idk why all hotel are super expensive in online except this hotel. So I booked it, but quality was very bed. Online photos and reality are far different. Room is tiny but toilet is super tiny.. I cannot turn my body after use toilet, door also cannot moved. And very old furniture in room.. Sorry, there’s no furniture except a bed & small table. I changed my room twice because no hanger for clothes or covered & AC not cool. My stay at this hotel was beyond disappointing. The lavatory faucet didn’t work, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the bidet was useless—basic necessities were completely neglected. To make things worse, the entire place had a horrible odor that made it impossible to feel comfortable.It’s clear that maintenance is not a priority here. For the price you can’t really complain. My only qualm was the bathroom - so small that I couldn’t open the door properly, housekeeping forgot to refill the soap canisters, the pipes were leaky, leaving the floor all wet. Also, there’s NO TOILET SEAT which in my opinion is pretty damn basic, especially for a Reddoorz. Staff were very courteous and efficient on the other hand. CCTV protected. Air con works well.
