Skye coffee + wine — Restaurant in Tacloban

Great place and ambiance, and I'm not the only one who found the outdoor lighting and decorations to be pretty good but also the countless number of people who I see online or see in person that takes a ton of pictures there, day or night.

I haven't tried much of their menu yet, but I do hear great reviews from strangers and friends about it so it's definitely a must try.

For people who'd like to work on something with their laptops or phones, unfortunately only one side of the area has power outlets and that actually bums me out. If it wasn't for the scarcity of their outlets it would've been one of the most perfect places to talk, work, or hangout in Tacloban. I hope they take this review into consideration so that the convenience doesn't have to be lacking.

The people working there are pretty great! They do their job accordingly, and is pretty hospitable to their customers. No lacking part of their service as far as I can tell.

Visited during the daytime. I felt like I was in a disco because of the ambience. I must add that the playlist they were using was really good. Would recommend trying this place if you plan on having loud conversation with friends. If, however, you were planning on closely catching up with friends, studying, or doing business-related affairs, this certainly is not the place for you. The food (snacks) were tasty and worth-it for the price. I would advise you to stay away from the nachos though. The drinks were good too however, the mango graham frappe I had (although they said it was the bestseller) tasted too synthetic. The staff were also very polite and accommodating. If you are particular when it comes to this kind of thing, I must add that they weren't really strict when it comes to following the Covid19 guidelines of the City (no need for QR code or face shield), so visit the place at your own risk. They also have a balcony where you can choose to stay in but people mostly use this area...

Nice place for photos and ambiance but no food. 3 out of 4 times they always say chicken is the only available food in the menu, ive only managed to eat their nachos once, and had loved it but its ALWAYS unavailable after that last visit. They also charge the same price of the chicken even tho it doesnt have the chips which is supposed to be part of the dish.. since... Like i said.. they dont always have the other food. No replacement of the lacking portion of the dish... Very disappointed and so expensive... Youd think itd be worth it with such high prices. 😅...
