THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH THIS PLACE IS THAT THE LOCATION AND ADDRESS ON GOOGLE MAPS AND ON REDDOORZ.COM (and many other websites) IS A LIE.

The address is given as 53 Real St., which puts the location in the downtown. The REAL address is BARANGAY (Brgy) FIFTY-THREE, Real St. This puts the location a kilometer or two OUTSIDE the downtown. Additionally, the entire hotel is "hiding" behind ANOTHER SMALLER HOTEL on the street front. You must go down a NARROW alleyway to the side of this hotel in order to find the entrance.

I had a terrible time finding this hotel one night in heavy rain, but it might be more obvious in the daytime or less stressful conditions. At least they gave me a free room upgrade after stumbling in exhausted and dripping after two hours in the rain.

Please see my attached photos as a reference for the location of this hotel. It is directly adjacent to a large Petron gas station and directly behind (attached to) Hotel Jayobo Inn (seafoam green color). Do a Google search for Jayobo Inn instead and you should be able to find this hotel's true location.

Pros:

Decent price. For the Philippines, this is a decent place: small but reasonably clean rooms with strong aircon. In other countries I might give it 2 stars, but for a small regional capital in the Philippines it's worthy of 3, barely. Reasonably close to central downtown (but it's NOT IN the downtown). 7/11 nextdoor and many restaurants, fast food (McDo), and grocery (Metro supermarket) nearby. There is free water and coffee (I think?)

Cons:

There is WiFi available and it works in the common area for sure, but the WiFi didn't really reach my room. Can't speak for the other rooms. No hot water, but the water from the shower was room temperature, not freezing. Almost no parking available. If you have a car, forget it. You can barely squeeze a small motorcycle into the alleyway. You are not allowed to use the parking for Jayobo Inn or to...

The room that they gave is ok. But the down part is 1) the door looks like it can be opened for one push from outside, 2) the door of the bathroom is broken, 3) wifi connection is poor, 4) they should put more light at the lobby and the reception area, and lastly 5)they should put back the free...
