TFG Hotel — Hotel in Tagaytay

I DON'T RECOMMEND them. They are on promotional price of 2880 per day. You get what you paid for BUT NOT what you deserve as a guest. Maganda and clean yung room sa picture BUT NOT ON THE ACTUAL. Sino ba naman di maeengganyo don. 1st Mahina ang net; before booking I asked them if mabilis ang net, the person I've spoken to mentioned 300mbps. It is important for me to have strong internet connection coz I will be working and have to access vpn. 1st day of our stay di maka access yung room ng connection kung san man yun router: when we're able to ang speed is 13mbps, 29mbps, 57mbps during our 2nights stay. 2nd, we had to request for transfer of room.. May sira yun sink sa CR. stuck yun pambara sa lababo, may water na di naflush out na madumi, halatang di nalinis. 3rd, andaming insects sa room, tutubi, gamo-gamo, langgam at ipis! 4th, andaming hidden charges. During our first night there, yung drainage sa CR may takip na naghhinder sa pag agos ng tubig into the drainage. Since first time maligo nagflood sa CR (walang division ang shower at toilet seat) then yung floor towel rug na provided basang basa. So I had to call that night para magrequest ng bago, since hello magtiis ba kami sa super basa. The receptionist that night mentioned may bayad daw 40.. Kahit di namin alam nagbabaha? Given walang ref, though you can request for water. Yung ice nila may bayad, ok lang sana kaso parang binabawi un discount, 60 for bucket na maliit, 40 para sa glass. 5th, CR ulit! 2nd day, siguro di namin napansin nung 1st day since di naman kami nag toilet ng magkasunod or minutes ang interval. Yun Toilet bowl kasi pagka flush mo antagal bago magrefill ng water. Nireport ko, ang tagal bago dumating nung magcheck eh we needed to go out kasi may appointment kami. Sabi ko follow up ko nalang sila paguwi. So when we arrived ganon ginawa ko.. Sabi sakin observe daw namin. So we did! nagwee wee kami magkasunod. Ako nauna, after I flushed at nagwee wee yung partner ko after 5 minutes, di nagrefill yung bowl ng water.. nag timer kami 10minutes wala pa rin. Itinawag ko ulit. What if masama tiyan mo and you needed to use the T.bowl several times... 1st solution pa nga is magbibigay sila ng key sa ibang room para sa CR, how inconvenient. After follow up ulit, They transferred us sa original room kung saan kmi dapat during our check-in. Nag flicker yun light pag open ng heater, grounded siguro. Itinawag namin pero parang wala resolution kasi wala ata magaayos, so tiis nalang. kinalikot namin yun ilaw so nawala yun flickering. 6th, di ata nagcheck if narefillan ng maayos yung supplies ng room. The morning bago kami magcheckout we decided to consume yung complimentary coffee but to our dismay yun 3 sachet ng sugar na provided nila per room, yung isa bukas at empty na, meaning nagamit na kung sino man yun naka checkin don before us. Btw, di namin nagalaw yung coffee.sugar from the other room. 7th, cleanliness. Madungis yun CR, halatang di iniiscrub yun tiles, sink, t.bowl, shower heads since may mga molds at mantya.. kadiri, maarte ako, Yes! pero kadiri tlaga parang di hotel. May ipis akong napatay, siguro nakita nung naglinis after namin umalis. No cable, no netflix (bahala ka sa access) 😅. Sorry ka nalang pag di mo nalog out account mo after mo magcheck out sure na magagamit sa room yun.. swerte nung next na magcheck in kasi may netflix. Thank you Patty, nagamit namin account mo ng 1day. 😅 I know some may say it's 2880 lang naman.. haha pero gosh mas malinis pa yung mga red doors, oyo na worth 1500. Yung 2nd day namin, dumating ata yun owner, nagayos ng hallway at ground floor yung mga staff na dapat ginagawa nila sa bawat room coz yun ang binibenta nyo. I'm not even sure why you were posted on Spot and Preview. Should we go back?... NO 😒 Nastress kami during our stay, instead na marelax. Napahiya ako coz ako ang pumili ng hotel na to, i thought marrelax kami.. kung pwede lang magrefund.. on a positive note, magagalang yung mga staff, mabango yun public...

Had a great time at TFG Hotel! Service is good and the staff are very friendly and approachable. The interior of the space is really charming; very modern and minimal, and yet it's refreshing to the eyes. It's quiet and a little further away from the bustle of Tagaytay proper. Perfect for couples, families, and even for friends!

Things for improvement (since the hotel just recently opened its doors to the public): • Wi-Fi connection: needs to be stronger and accessible in all areas (however, we didn't mind working at the lobby area since it's just so pretty 🥰) • Extra beds: just need it to be thicker than what they're currently offering now • Another trashbin: the room should have two trashbins (one in the CR, one in the bedroom vicinity)

Overall, a great stay! Come here if you want to stay somewhere new that's just a few minutes away from all the best places...
