We stayed here (3 adults and 1 child aged 8 yrs old) during a weekend. The place is not near the main street (some tricycle drivers doesn't know it) but it is walking distance going to Our Lady of Manaoag church, Picnic Grove and Development Academy of the Philippines. We only paid P60 for a tricycle ride from Olivares terminal. We were greeted by their nice garden facade but the water is dark green! Looks like they haven't cleaned these areas for decades. It would be nice if the water flowing on it is crystal clear. When we entered our Room #6, we were greeted by mold-like smell of the room, but after we leave the door opened for about 15 minutes and sprayed some perfume, it was okay. They have 1 double bed and 2 single beds, perfect for family of 4. Comfort room is clean but hot water on the shower is not working, my nephew was shouting while taking a bath as the water is cold. I also noticed that under the sink, there are some drops of water coming from it. I guess they need to fix the tube fittings under the sink. My mother complained that the mattress on their double bed is bit hard and her back gets very warm after a long time, despite the cold airconditioning. It also took me long time to locate the power where I can charge my phone as it is hidden behind the bed. Aside from these flaws, the service is okay, they are fast and happy serving us esp Melanie at the Front Desk (and the 2 girls who opened the room for us) and their gardener who helped my mother and became our photographer on our way home. We had beef tapas and daing na bangus for breakfast with free 3-in-1 coffee. This place is good for backpackers and those who only needs a good place to sleep.Since it is a very cheap place, please lower your...
Read moreWe stayed in Room No. 4 (standard room), Building 1. It's clean, covers the basic needs like towels, soaps, pairs of slippers and a new roll of tissue. No toothpaste and shampoo, but for 1k overnight its ok. No breakfast included but they can cook for you, their breakfast is at 85 pesos, which includes rice, morning ulam (daing na bangus, tapa, longganisa) and instant coffee. We tried their beef tapa and its good. Well-marinated and tender.||||And when you are in Tagaytay, one of your main concerns is water heater and good water pressure, and it has both.||||The place is walking distance from 7-eleven at One Tagaytay Place. From Tagaytay Market, its only an 8 peso jeepney ride, or 25 pesos on tricycle. ||||If you want peace and afar from the hustle and bustle of Olivarez Plaza then this is the place. But its just a 12-peso jeepney ride if you want...
Read moreI would say it's the best cheap place to stay in Tagaytay, & have been here twice. The only down side is that some rooms here have no proper exhaust for their CRs, & they don't provide shampoo & toothpaste/toothbrush set (which I think is a trivial thing if you're used to bringing your own toiletries to places. The food for the most part is good (check their sizzling plate sisig, forget their corned beef) & you can even rent an electric iron if you're staying here for a wedding to iron your clothes (which is what I've done for those times that I've stayed here). The concierge woman here is quite hands on when it comes to their clients. There are stores & a milk tea place near this...
