We were headed to Batangas for a work trip, but decided to check in at Tagaytay a day before for convenience. We were actually booked at another hotel nearby, but we were bumped off at the very last minute, and fortunately, El Bien Hotel were kind enough to accommodate us at nearly 11pm.||||Hotel is located by the corner of the Tagaytay-Talisay road. Because the hotel isn't as big, there are parking spaces for about two cars right in front of the hotel. Otherwise, you'd have to park across the road. Lobby and restaurant we're kept simple, up to date and elegant. Rooms are a bit small and pricey - though we were provided with pretty much all the essentials. AC was nice and cold, room was cozy and kept really clean. The only problems we encountered were the dead sockets by the bedside and that pretty much all conversations could be heard clearly from outside the room. ||||Staff were very actively responsive from the moment I was inquiring regarding room availability, to checking in and up until check out. Would like to give a special mention to Pam and Miriam for being so so warm and welcoming, and for making the stay worthwhile. ||||Didn't get to take much photos, but can definitely vouch for this hotel, and most especially their staff. Already looking forward to the next visit! Highly...
Read moreThis hotel was a perfect place to stay to end a 2 week road trip throughout Luzon. Spent 3 days there. We had a fourth floor balcony room. The people and service was perfect. All the food we ordered was awesome! Me and my girlfriend finished off everything. Dinners were huge servings, which what we had leftover, the staff was nice enough to reheat our leftovers for lunch the next day.For breakfast we ate downstairs, and met up with Chef Nomer (sp.) every day and enjoyed great conversation with him as we ate. Had our dinner served to us outside on the balcony. The service was perfect. Very clean room. Can only give praise about this hotel and its staff...and of course the food! A 7-11 is about a 3 minute drive away if you need to pick up any items, that was my Red Horse beer stop. Oh yea, massive hot water there and shower had a great jet spray back massager. Also very quiet, I enjoyed spending my evenings out on the veranda drinking a beer and just staring out at the view, after having a great meal. :) Only hotel close to rival the ElBien, was the Blue Coast hotel in Santa Ana, Cagayan. I will definitely go back there again on my next visit to the Philippines! Thank You for the great time Hotel El...
