I may - arguably - be the best person to write a review for this hotel, for I have been a frequent guest in this hotel, way way back still in college.||||here is my most unbiased review for 5R. ill start with the cons, because there is only 1.||||cons:||Mosquitoes - there are a lot of mosquitoes within the perimeter of the hotel. and these bugs are the size of a zebra. they're big. but inside the room, if closed well, you wouldn't be "bugged" literally and figuratively. ||||Pros:||Location - the location is perfect as it is along the main road. it is very near the junction. and relatively near the tourist spots.||||Parking: good thing, there is now ample and cemented parking spots. before i used to park in the street.||||Room: they have toiletries. good towels. comfy pillows and bed. efficient airconditioning. some rooms have personal ref. flat screen tvs. but i think some still have CRT. hot and cold shower. some rooms have veranda.||||People: people are very accommodating. they are relatively quiet, but when you talk to them, they respond well. i guess it's their way of showing that they dont meddle with your business. but they are nice people. it's a family run business. so expect that most of the people you are going to talk to are related to each other.||||WIFI: yes, they have wifi, fairly god signal.||||Needs: minor needs such as coffee, noodles, shampoo, soap, and other things are available in their mini store downstairs. the store facing the only covered parking space.||||Price: costs can vary depending on the season and time of check in. but it is a guarantee that you can always get a good price.||||Pool: there is a pool adjacent to the hotel. perhaps a 25m walk. it is not big, but it can suffice. im just not sure if 20 people will be comfortably swimming...

This rooms for rent offers them all.||||||||First, this inn is highly accessible from its website, customer service down to its place. You can easily access their contact information from their website; you can easily book and ask room rates by calling or emailing them and lastly, you can easily trace its site which is along the Tagaytay Road.||||||||Second, as to its facilities, this inn provides a good ambiance where you can relax and experience day/s escape from work, literally. When I stayed here for almost 2 days, I felt like I am in a different place away from Metro and Buss. Centers. This has pool, nipa huts where you can have your barkada/ family bonding, mini canteen where you can order bfast at take a cup of coffee and special mention to its huge parking slot where you can have your car/s secured and well guarded.||||||||As to its toiletries, I really loved the towels and soaps they provided for its pleasant smell.||||||||The best part for me is my morning and evening stay in its veranda, by just staying there, I felt the cool breeze of Tagaytay where I have to double my jacket and took at least two (2) cups of barako coffee.||||||||For the price, I can say that If you are on a budget trip, this inn is the best one for you. Take note, budget here means affordable and very ambient place to go to.||||||||Another thumbs up is their wifi, we all know that wifi is a must in a place where we are staying. 5r provides a great signal where I was still able to check on my emails while on vaca.||||||||||||Fairly enough, I can say that I would definitely go back...
Read moreThe people are nice and the room is great considering that we checked in at a different place on our first night at tagaytay because the tricycle drivers said that 5r was already full and since we arrived around midnight and we just wanted to rest and crash on any kind of place, we let the drivers take us anywhere they know we can stay. So the next day, we decided to finally check 5r since i totally have a feeling that there are vacant rooms there and the thing is, i am totally right (girl's intuition 😉) and we paid the same rate at 5r and the former room we stayed with way too different amenities and accommodation. We paid for 1k at our former room even if the room is not clean, especially the towels (which we didn't bother to use) and no aircon and shower while 5r gave us the exact comfort we wanted to have at our stay at tagaytay. The people are actually very nice. One of the workers even showed us the room that have a balcony even if we didn't asked for it. She even wanted to tour us around and let us choose which room we want to stay. She is actually nice and she always greeted us with a smile whenever we see each other. We stayed for 2 nights there and will definitely go back if ever we decided to plunge at tagaytay's...
