mySTAY BGC North — Hotel in Taguig

Stayed for a night with a friend

Location- walking distance to BGC. The sidewalk is slightly shaded. Would advise to take a grab when going back to the hotel at night. Was forwarned that it's not the safest street. (No evidence to prove this. We didn't risk it. We took a grab on our way back to the hotel)

Reception - can't easily enter unless the reception opens the door from the front desk. Everything's automated. Need a keycard to open the main door, to use the elevator and to enter the rooms.

Need security deposit upon check-in.

Front desk were welcoming and accommodating. Explained the rules and regulations upon handing the keycard.

Wifi - strong connection. Each floor i guess has their own router, idk.

Room - not the spacious one but will do for 2-3 pax. Loved the interiors. From the tables, hanging rack, mirrors, side tables, etc.

Loved the bed! Also, the room was well ventilated. AC was 👌🏻

Comfort room wasn't the best in terms of size. But we loved the shower, sink, toilet, bidet, and ample space to hang or place a toiletry bag.

There are three mirrors. Out of the hotels we stayed at during our vacation in Manila, we only had a full body mirror at this hotel.

Food - they serve food upon request, esp breakfast.

Parking - ample space for parking vehicles or motorcycles

Accessibility - located just along the kalayaan avenue so it's not difficult to spot. I believe pwd are welcome..

Would love to stay here again for a night or two...

Not bad but can be improved! I think for the price, the location is really good. Among other mySTAY hotel chains, I think this one is really closest to BGC, like only 5 minutes walk you can already reached BGC area. But it seems a bit lacking of facilities than other mySTAY. The wall indeed quite thin, even tho my room is on the 6th floor, I could still hear the noise from the road. I can even clearly hear from the other room if they’re playing music too loud. The view is quite bad but I don’t really mind. My only problem is the bed matress is really firm, as someone who usually sleep on soft-medium matress, this is kinda like rock hard bed. AC was cool, the shower was hot, and they have purified water refill dispenser. There is no electric kettle in the room so you had to relying hot water for drinking to that water dispenser or bring your own if you need hot boiled water all the time. Terrible First Impression – Not the mySTAY We Were Looking For!

Our experience at mySTAY Hotel BGC North was unfortunately marked by a very frustrating start. We arrived at dawn on January 15, having clearly indicated we needed early check-in, but were met with an unwelcoming and unhelpful receptionist.

Despite our long and tiring journey, we were told to find an ATM because they didn’t accept card payments—something we weren’t informed of ahead of time. It felt extremely inconsiderate, especially given the hour and our exhaustion. To make things worse, we were initially told there were no available rooms, only to suddenly be offered one when we were already about to leave. It really made us question whether we were being misled.

The room was noisy and definitely not soundproof, which made it hard to rest.

That said, the other staff we encountered were kind and professional, which we appreciate. Unfortunately, that poor handling at the front desk left a lasting negative impression. We won’t...
