Excellent value for money hotel. Very clean rooms, very nice owners who even offered to pick up anything we needed from local supermarket as they where going that way. Beds where good,fans provided and a decent sized pool. ...|There have been a few whinges of barking dogs from neighbours, and yes I did hear them in the loo but once the door was shut... silence. |All in all it was a really nice place to stay, the young lady who took us in was unbelievably nice not that fake nice you see now all too often but genuinely nice a refreshing change in this day and age.|Would I stay again... absolutely. |We even got a departure gift which left me some what speechless so come on folks support this small hotel the owners are nice and so is the hotel so much better than the commercial hotels you have to put...
Read moreWe spent one night here as part of a 10 day trip around Portugal.||||We've never felt so welcome in a hotel before, it was like we were staying with some long lost relatives. We were given a welcome drink choice of port or ginjinha on arrival in in a sort of "common room" with sofas and a pool table, which we made use of after we came back from dinner! Read moreI was really looking forward to staying here and visiting the old town. Unfortunately it was like a sea mist drizzle very nearly all the time we were there. However, we had a very warm welcome with a glass of the cherry liqueur, and our rooms were basic but plenty big enough and bright. We also had the use of a large sitting room should we need it.
