Party of 5 today, sitting inside. They have a wide selection of vegan options, which is the reason why we chose the place. Their full kids menu is also available in the vegan version, abs this is great and very rare to find! The waiting staff is absolutely amazing and will accommodate all your needs with kindness and attention to detail. They are all very welcoming and caring for the customers’ needs. They took our order at two different times so that our son could be served first and as fast as possible. Thank you so much for that! The soup was delicious, and the natural orange juice too. But the rest of the food was deceiving: kids burger was dry- could be served with some ketchup or vegan mayo; the Mexican bowls was pretty average - not worth a mention at all, and the tofu was an absolute no; the scrambled tofu in the kids menu was pretty tasteless too; as much as the vegan kids pancakes. The apple crumble was dry. Did this place save our day as we are vegan (and it is just so hard to find a decent meal around)? Yes. Would I return? No. Seating inside is also very tight and uncomfortable. Too bad, as it has a lot...

Tucked away at the entrance of the walls of Óbidos, Avocado Coffee & Healthy Food is a charming retreat that instantly feels warm and inviting. The cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax, and the friendly staff truly make the experience even more enjoyable.
Their menu offers plenty of delicious vegan options, which is refreshing—especially since not all places make plant-based food taste this good! Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor.
Beyond the food, this delightful spot also features a small bookstore, perfect for browsing while you enjoy your meal or coffee. And just nearby, you’ll find a pastry window called Real Casa do Pastel, where you can get one of the best pastel de natas in Portugal—a perfect treat after your meal!
Whether you’re looking for a healthy meal, a great cup of coffee, or a cozy place to unwind, this inviting café in Óbidos is well worth a visit. Highly...
Read moreIn season at lunch time, expect to be ignored at best. There are 3 tables in total inside and a bunch of tables outside across two terraces but they are shared with other restaurants. It’s not clear which table belongs to which restaurant and no one is there to tell you. People wait standing between the tables hoping someone will leave so they can jump in. No one manages the line. Oh, and if you think the bar table with the bar chairs in the restaurant entrance is a place you can use, it’s just decoration - we’ve tried to sit there and we’re asked to leave. General impression is that they don’t want the customers there, you’re a nuisance on an already busy day. I’ve been desperate for “healthy food” and was willing to wait for it, but not desperate enough to go hunting for tables competing with other customers, and being ignored by the staff all...
