XII APOSTOLOS is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever visited – and without a doubt, the best pizza spot around!

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, friendly service and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you sit inside or enjoy the charming outdoor seating, the ambiance is perfect for a relaxed meal with family, friends, or that special someone.

Now, let’s talk about the food – because that’s where this place truly shines.

🍕 The pizza Absolutely phenomenal. Thin, crispy crusts with just the right amount of char, fresh ingredients, and bold, balanced flavors. Every bite tastes like it came straight from a wood-fired oven in Italy. It’s everything a pizza should be.

🥗 Salads are fresh and flavorful – a great light start.

🍝 Pasta and risottos are rich, perfectly cooked, and made with clear attention to detail. The mushroom risotto and the classic spaghetti pomodoro are must-tries!

Service is attentive and kind – the staff speak multiple languages and truly go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Prices are fair for the quality, and portions are just right.

We dined on 4.10.2024 at 19:40 and were very disappointed with several things:

The pasta was hard and undercooked, and the meat was small and barely noticeable.

They do not accept international credit cards, only local ones. There's a small sign, but they don’t inform you before sitting down. We only discovered this when we got the bill, and I had to pay everything in cash.

They tried to charge us for something we didn’t eat—wrapped breadsticks that were on the table.

We sat upstairs where all the other tables were empty, but the air conditioning was barely noticeable. We asked to move to another table, first for four people, but the waiter refused. Then we asked to move to a table for two, and again, he refused.

For our appetizer, we had pizza. After using the knives and placing them on our plates, we requested clean ones for the next course, but the waiter told us to keep them for the next dish.

To make things worse, the waiter added items to the bill that weren't from our visit, and didn’t inform us about the local credit card policy beforehand. The service was terrible, adding to our...

Arrived today, super hungry. A bitter waitress “welcomed” us. As we know how things work in touristy areas and since we were hungry we asked her how large are the portions. She immediately started bitterly saying enough for one person. We don’t do portions for two people. We kindly explained that it’s not about that, it’s about is it a normal sized portion for one person. She said yes. When the pasta arrived (Bolognese) it came with half a tea spoon of meat.
