So, we definitely ordered the Renato Tuna steak Sandwich, and the waiter brought us a Renato Beef steak sandwich instead. We were hungry and it was late, and even though the misunderstanding was disappointing, the waiter told us the sandwich was good, so we accepted it. However, the quality was bad/mediocre. It wasn’t tender loin, as it was sold to be. The meat was the opposite of tender. It was hard, the bread was chewy, and now we feel ripped off and reluctant to pay for the food. In addition, the waiters weren’t very nice.

On a positive note, the restaurant’s kitchen is open until 23pm and that is a plus given that most restaurants in the area don’t serve past 22pm.

Overall, three stars for the poor quality of the food and service, and for the fact that even though the order was incorrect and quality mediocre, there was no discount in the tab to compensate for the...

First of all, i will make a statement about the service. If you ever meet Jose, currently the manager there, deliver my thanks for making me feel like home!..super kind and helpful, not only as far as the menu and services are concerned but in general manners.. So, the food was pretty much awesome. I had the day soup (it varies) which was really nice, velvet-ish, the mushrooms with chopped prosciutto and garlic were exceptional and finally the main dish, salmon on the grill served with baby potatoes and vegetables was spot on!!...Crunchy from outside but also juicy inside, the fish was perfectly cooked! Kudos to the chefs/cooks!! Jose's recommendation for their own,old wine completed the five-star ranking...!!!! Thank you guys for the lovely experience.. P.S. The restaurant is placed inside of the mercado (market) of Cascais, upstairs having the option to sit on...

It's ok. Last time I was there was more or less two years ago and the quality was far better than now. The meat was clearly from the cheapest cuts and flavour wise was not that good. Also the fried cuttlefish has seen better days. Will try the other restaurants of the same chain to evaluate if it's only this one. The staff is nice but could pay more attention. Parking can be difficult...

I've been working in Cascais for a while and one of the most frustrating things is not having anywhere to grab a quick lunch which isn't fast food and isn't too expensive. Now I've found pateo de petisco and their excellent prato do dia deal, that problem is over. Staff are really friendly, and prices and quality of other dishes are also really reasonable. Highly recommended.
