The worse foreign accommodation we have ever encountered in all our years of travelling.||Hello Cascais is a few rooms in a commercial building. We stayed in 2 rooms in this establishment, rooms 2 and 3. Both were shabby with scruffy dirty furnishings and dirty carpets and floors. Neither room was serviced during our stay in them and the only reason we had a change of bedding and towels in 9 nights was because we changed rooms twice. ||The waste bin was never emptied, and we had to empty it ourselves.||On the first room change the owner took our bedding off and put it on the bed in the new room. In one room the bed actually collapsed while we were SAT on it. That night we ended up sleeping on the floor. The owner said she would fix the bed after breakfast and we returned at 16:30 to catch up on lost sleep to find that it hadn't been touched. The owner said that she had been out all day looking for a bed for us, but the one she found didn't fit in her car, so we didn't have a new one. I ended up finding a tool kit and fixing the bed myself so that we could grab an hours sleep.||Breakfast of Toast, cheese, processed ham slices, some fresh fruit, yogurts and tea or coffee and orange juice is picked up from the kitchen and taken back to the room as there isn't a dining area. On 2 days we had cold recycled toast on the second day I had to complain. In the kitchen were returned piles of toast which had obviously been served to us.||There are shared bathrooms and no wash facilities at all in the room. On several occasions we walked to the bathroom to find them both occupied, not an ideal situation.||In one room the was an AC unit but we were told that it didn't work, this was a lie as I opened the front cover and turned it on and it was working, as was the external refrigeration unit. We had limited use as we didn't have a remote control.||On one morning we were woken up by the owner knocking on our door asking if we wanted breakfast, if we wanted breakfast we would have gone to the kitchen for it. We were very tired after the collapsed bed farce, then the noise from the bar underneath us and needed sleep, we collected breakfast and went back to bed only to be woken again with the owner knocking on the door asking for the plates and cups so she could wash them?????? At this point we gave up on sleep and went out.||Lots more to say but it's really an experience we would rather forget. ||Avoid this place like the plague, even for one night, at 90 Euro per night it was the worse ever travelling mistake we have made in 35 years...
