My husband and I lived here for 2 months while looking for an apartment to rent. Very good location opposite the casino, near the park, 5 minutes walk to the sea. We lived in a new building, very nice modern rooms, big TV. Upon check-in, 2 capsules of coffee are provided as a welcome drink. Cleaning every day, but very strange. Either they forget to change the towels, or they won’t change the dirty cups for new ones. Since we lived there for a long time, we bought our own plates to eat, because the cleaners periodically took away the hotel's plates for some reason. So at the end of our stay, we found that one of our plates was missing, we guess which cleaning lady took it, but did not say anything. We hope that she needs it more, and we will buy a new one. I would also like to write separately about the girls at the reception, who were very nice and always polite, we were very pleased to communicate with them. But on our last day there was a man working at the hotel named Gonzalo who was very rude. We asked if we could check out 30 minutes later, to which he said with a very unhappy face "no, you have to check out at 12". He didn't even try to help us. We left at the time indicated by him, and when we went down to the reception, we saw that the cleaners did not even begin to clean our floor, which means we could safely leave later. I think Gonzalo doesn't need to work with people. Everything else was great. I also want to give a little advice, it is better not to take breakfast, because it...
Read moreYou know, all Hotels have their little problems and sometimes u just put them behind and accept that it was really a 3 Star hotel. But no way I wouldn’t review this experience. I’m normally mega understanding and kind, but the way unexpectedly this receptionist treat me was shocking. A receptionist called Gonçalo, had so much anger on him that he would even like mean into my face when replying the questions. I was so shocked and scared that I requested to speak to the manager that didn’t want to speak to me at all, but somehow I managed on a thirds time, and protected his employee all the way. Told me out o. The reclamation book of you would like. And hanged out the phone. Unfortunately this situation made me leave the hotel, loose my money as they won’t refund me and find another hotel which had the most amazing customer service. This to say that hotel has no parking for everyone so they expect you to pay for your parking and breakfast is literally so poor and looks horrible…so unfortunate as it’s on a such prestige area of Estoril and it made so unhappy as I was exploring the area and just manage to buy my house in the area…I hope u have a better experience than me when...
Read moreThe pros: Staff are nice, location is good.||The cons: Terrible breakfast, the same every day, poor choice, soggy scrambled eggs and sausages, minimal fruit. ||Very thin walls, you can hear your neighbors arguing and doors closing, ancient furniture from a time warp that is cracked and peeling, infrastructure is cracked an peeling (shower and sink faucets), poor WiFi, poor light blockage at night from the lights of the casino. The room itself is a good size, but the bathroom is tiny and cramped, you can barely turn around.||||The unfortunate thing is that this type of hotel at this price seems to be the standard in Estoril. They need better hotels if they are hosting world-class conferences at their conference center. Cascais is too far away to walk, if you want to be right next to your hotel, as...
