If more people knew this place existed, you'd struggle to get a table without booking well in advance.
As much as I want to keep this place a secret, I just can't. The steak here is So good! My partner and I have been in quite a few times now but the owners/staff have always greeted us like old friends right from the start.
You walk in through a small door off of a back street that you'd easily walk past if you didn't know better and into a restaurant that instantly feels like you've been invited into someone's home.
The welcome is warm and genuine, you're seated quickly, waited on attentively but not overbearingly and other tables are not too close so whilst everyone is talking and having a good time, you don't feel like you're almost in their conversations as you often do in smaller restaurants.
Everything about this place screams passion for what they do from the small but carefully chosen wine list that compliments the food perfectly to the way the staff talk about their produce when you ask what's good on the menu.

Like many other positive notes left by others, its cozy ambiance and attentive staff were much appreciated on our last night in Cascais. The owner Dennis was amazing and it was a wholesome experience witnessing her genuine enthusiasm and pride in her establishment.
We were served sausages as appetizers and wow, I would’ve gone back just for this dish. For entrees, we had tomahawk and grillee codfish with parsley sauce. The codfish was cooked and seasoned perfectly and it was probably the best fish dish I had in Lisbon. Wish I can say the same for Tomahawk. Maybe the batch wasn’t the best they had that night, but it was chewy and wasn’t to what we had requested (medium rare). Nonetheless, Dennis was quick to catch on and did her best to address this.

Read moreWow, just wow! Me and my wife went there few days ago and we were absolutely mind blown. Denise, the owner, greeted us with her warm smile and explained everything very well. Her husband, who is the chef, took care of our steaks and made sure we had one of the best steaks we’ve had before. The other waiter/kitchen staff was a family friend which was also super friendly and efficient. My wife had the flank steak and I had the beef tenderloin, both cooked to a perfection alongside with south american side dishes which was very fun to try! I also have to mention the Shitake mushrooms we ordered as a side dish with the steaks. They were so tasty we’re pretty sure they were the best mushrooms we’ve had, ever. So yeah, if you’re thinking about trying, GO!!
We are btw going again this evening to eat there. I think it’s the first time we go to the same place twice in the same vacation but I guess that tells you all about the charm and quality this place...
