Lisboa Sunshine Homes — Hotel in Lisbon

This is an apartment with 4 rooms shared among the guests. Location is not really centre but well connected to centre and other places too. Room was small but good for coming back after touring lisbon and resting. My room was next to the shared bathroom so things were comfortable. There is a well equipped kitchen too. Carlos is an amazing person and will give you a good tour of the house, things to do in Lisbon and any other detail you require. For me the only negative part was, there is only one shared bathroom among 4 rooms and that can be an issue sometimes. The bathing area is uncovered and hence water spills everywhere and even outside the washroom. The person using it needs to mop it after use. That’s something which should be fixed. The hostel is run by Carlos & Sandra. At a good price they offered us a trannsfer from the airport. The breakfasts were very tasty, we felt at home and not like in the hostel (real ham, chouriço, cheese, cottage cheese, jam). Probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a hostel. Close to the metro and to the Pingo Doce market.||Hostel also has disadvantages. The apartment is on very low ground floor. From our room window facing the corridor, so was the problem with the room airing. I felt that the room is damp. The locks on the door were very noisy. The staff are super helpful. The hotel is located very close to Mercado dos Arroios, and there are also two metro/subway stops (Arroios and Alameda) at 5 minutes walk. The red line (vermelha) goes straight to the airport. There are also supermarkets and restaurants in the area. The facilites of the hotel are a bit old. But the relation quality/price is fine. There is one shared bathroom for 8 people (4 double rooms). There's kitchen and the breakfast is included.
