NO COMMENT!! just stay away from this restaurant!! mediocre food, rude waitresses and terrible service!! We got there and had to knock at the door to get in!! They were locked in!! The chef, who was there, saw us but pretended not to see us, when he realised there was the queue outside he just came and opened. So why he didnt come before??? After this we already wanted to live but we decided to give them another opportunity:" very big mistake we shouldnt have!!! We asked for english menu and they didnt have it and the waitress, who seems going out more than working with that pink hat, said:" you can always check on the internet!!" Whaaaaaaat??? I dont want to waste my time checking on internet you should have the menu and that's it!!! Then we got the food, a salty raw cod but they forgot to bring us something else. So we said that we didnt want it anymore, too much time!! Their english was terrible so wasnt impossible to speak!! The worst thing was that they didnt care at all!! They didnt care about the fact that we were not happy!!! There were waiting for us to live!!! The toilet also was dirty and there was no soap!! Absolutely the worst experience I ever had and never ever ever ever ever...
Read moreWe had a delicious lunch in this casual restaurant, attached to the splendid Mercado de Arroios. Owner Vanessa spoke great English and was so warm and helpful with our selection of food and wine. all the ingredients come fresh right from the Market, and we enjoyed Pimentos de Padron with coarse salt, an abundant octopus salad and a unique rice and mushroom dish, with the large mushrooms spread luxuriously over the savory rice. The traditional specialties were also available on the menu, and a QR code was provided for a menu in English. In all, a highly successful spontaneous experience, which I would...
Read moreWe came here on our first night in Lisbon and I must say it was a great experience. I had a glass of a realy good wine (the waitress told me it was like a house wine, the owner of that place also makes some wines), my boyfriend had a beer. We both ordered fish plates. I had a traditional portuguese fish (potato and fish in the oven), my boyfriend ate codfish bras. We both enjoyed our dishes. The flavoures were amazing and it was really delicious. Also I have to say that the waitress who served us, was super nice. Her English was not that great, but she realy took time to explain some dishes and she was super friendly. At the end when we had to pay, there was this moment when we didn't understand each other very well and we had such a laugh about it..a great night and a great place to eat some traditional portuguese food . Also the prices were...
