Jardim das Camélias — Hotel in Madalena

We stayed in this guesthouse for 3 nights in the middle of August. The house is fresh renoveted. The rooms are very nice and practical with a nice view on the Mountain. There is a living room with tv and a terrace with chairs. The garden ist very nice maintained. There ist a large kitchen with everything that you will need and big windows with view on the pico mountain! The Location ist perfect: Right in the Centre of Madalena. Very near you can find a lot of restaurants, Bars and the Piscinas Naturales. The owner Ivo is very friendly and ready to help you in every Moment and give you tips to Explore the island. Hospedaje muy recomendable. A mi me gustó mucho y repetiría cada vez q fuese a Pico. Es una casa muy grande, recién reformada para convertirse en un hospedaje a turistas. Las habitaciones y las otras estancias, son muy bonitas y están equipadas con materiales de calidad. Se nota que la propiedad lo ha diseñado todo con mucho cariño para que el cliente se sienta como en casa.

La cocina, es espectacular. Recuerda sentarme cada tarde a merendar mirando el volcán Pico. Lo echo de menos.

El Hotel, está dirigido por un matrimonio que cuida los detalles (tienen un librito sobre las recomendaciones de la zona, muy práctico y muy bien hecho) y se preocupa para que siempre esté todo en orden y el cliente se sienta como en casa.
