VYBE Matosinhos Centro — Hotel in Matosinhos

I had booked this property from Agoda for my solo trip. This place is really good and is isolated from the nearby traffic noises but also being close to the metro station Camara Matosinhos. So getting here from the airport via public transport is not an issue. I had booked a single bedroom with an attached bathroom. I had requested for an early check-in at around 1pm via email and the owner Mr Rocha had promptly complied. But on reaching the property I was unable to enter as I didn't have the entry code. The neighbours helped me to get in contact with him and it was sorted at the earliest. This was the only glitch with the stay. No other issues with the property. Clean room and bathroom with few extra amenities like TV, Nespresso pod, electric kettle, packs of biscuits, jam. There is an outdoor area and a common area. Mr Rocha is a gracious host and he gave good recommendations of nearby restaurants. I had complete privacy and could enter and leave the property at my own will and time. The owner Nuno really went above and beyond to make my stay perfect from the start to the finish. All of the staff were so lovely, polite and accommodating.

The property itself was extremely clean, fresh and modern. The property also has a fantastic faux grass garden with several seated spaces.

My single room had its own bathroom as well as; a large tv, wardrobe with fridge inside, kettle, toaster, large and small plates, cutlery and even a bottle opener.

The bathroom was lovely and clean with a large landscape mirror that had LED lights fitted behind it. (Great for doing make up) The shower is very spacious, with two different heads that are easy and convenient to use.

There was also a welcome basket provided on check in. This contained; jams, teabags, Brown and white sugar, biscuits and other small snacks and a Nespresso coffee pod to use in the Nespresso coffee machine located...

This hotel was suggested by the wedding planner of friends. I had a very good contact with the manager Nuno who was so helpful to book the room as we needed.||||For the first night, we had a beautiful room on the first floor and then we had a spacious room on the second floor. We loved it! Everything was neat, clean, quiet, practical with a little welcome gift package with biscuits, coffee, jam, honey. ||Nuno gave us tips about where to eat (bakery nearby), buy things (Continente very close), etc. The hotel doesn't have a desk but Nuno is easily reachable and we had everything we needed in the room.||||The metro (A line) is easy to use to go to the center of Porto in no time.
