Senhor De Matosinhos- Romaria — Hotel in Matosinhos

Hotel Senor Matosinhos is situated about 600m from the beach area of town. Close to the river and the bridge over to Praia de Boa Nova. It was once a very large private home and it’s heritage still shows thru. The room are clean if a little Spartan.|The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. It was great for a one or two night stay. One great advantage is they have free onsite parking if you get there early enough to get one of the 8 or so spots.|Breakfast was OK, and they take COVID rules seriously at all times.|We’d stay again if we were back...

Cute and convenient little hotel just outside Porto. The gentleman who runs it is so kind and helpful, although no one speaks English. Breakfast was included which was wonderful, but as someone with celiac it was limiting so I only could have yogurt and meat and cheese (otherwise there was sandwiches, cereal, pastries and breakfast cakes). Great place to stay in Matosinhos. |For a very decent price you get an incredible breakfast, very clean rooms, amazingly friendly employees, 5 minutes walking distance from a beautiful beach and 20 minutes bus from center of Oporto.|In the area, there are multiple restaurants, mostly local restaurants, excellent fish restaurants.|Extremely quiet environment, where you can sleep late in the morning.|You can enjoy seagull cry and the neighborhood coq to recall you are on earth.|Great place with...
