HappySintra — Hotel in Sintra

It's self-check-in to this beautiful house - it's bright pink and you won't miss it. The location is just a 4-5 minute walk to the Sintra train station so it's super convenient as well. Served as a great base for me to explore the beautiful Sintra town.

My bedroom was a little dated and had a slightly odd, damp smell, but all other shared common spaces are tastefully furnished and clean. There's also a washing machine but no dryer (complimentary), so you'll need to hang them outside.

Just a note that the house is located down a steep, cobbled slope, so it might not be accessible for the elderly / those with mobility issues.

what a charming little place, it's so well kept and the owners are very friendly and helpful. my room was spotless and the breakfast was a real winner. The owners were so helpful sharing their knowledge of the area and which bus to get (which was 2 mins away from the house), as a female solo traveller I found their support wonderful, they went out of their way to give me a lift and when I had a call from work and had to work into the evening on my laptop, they let me work from the kitchen table and shared their own evening meal with me so I didn't have to worry about going out for food. Was a wonderful house to stay at! Very cozy and welcoming. Stayed in the double twin bed room. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and water hot. Owner had the fireplace going in the evening and it was warm and inviting on a rainy night. We stayed all over Portugal for nine days and this was by far my favorite place we stayed at! I would go back JUST to stay here again!...
