It's self-check-in to this beautiful house - it's bright pink and you won't miss it. The location is just a 4-5 minute walk to the Sintra train station so it's super convenient as well. Served as a great base for me to explore the beautiful Sintra town.
My bedroom was a little dated and had a slightly odd, damp smell, but all other shared common spaces are tastefully furnished and clean. There's also a washing machine but no dryer (complimentary), so you'll need to hang them outside.
Just a note that the house is located down a steep, cobbled slope, so it might not be accessible for the elderly / those with mobility issues.

The owners were so helpful sharing their knowledge of the area and which bus to get (which was 2 mins away from the house), as a female solo traveller I found their support wonderful, they went out of their way to give me a lift and when I had a call from work and had to work into the evening on my laptop, they let me work from the kitchen table and shared their own evening meal with me so I didn't have to worry about going out for food. Owner had the fireplace going in the evening and it was warm and inviting on a rainy night. We stayed all over Portugal for nine days and this was by far my favorite place we stayed at!
