Read moreWe came here purely based on the glowing reviews, hoping to pick up some Pastéis de Nata as gifts to take home- and we were absolutely not disappointed. These were, without a doubt, the best Pastéis de Nata we tasted during our entire time in Portugal. The pastry was perfectly crisp and delicate, the custard silky and rich, and the balance of flavours simply exquisite.
What really set this place apart, though, was the creative twist on the classic. In addition to the traditional version, they offered a delightful range of unique flavours—fruit, chocolate, salted caramel, and mocha—each one thoughtfully crafted and utterly delicious. It’s rare to see this kind of innovation without compromising on quality, but here, every variation felt like a fresh and exciting take on a beloved favourite.
The owner who served us was charming- warm, knowledgeable, and clearly proud of what they create here, and rightly so. His enthusiasm added to the experience and made us feel like we were taking home something truly special. A real gem of a place, and one we’ll be dreaming about long...
