My wife and I had booked a room at a nearby hotel but nobody was there at 10pm to let us in, so we ended up at this place. I wish we found somewhere with nicer people! They let us have a room and quickly asked for money. We used their (very slow) wifi, and found we had an email from the original hotel with a code to get in. Since we had been in the room less than 5 minutes and hadn't touched anything, we thought it would be fine to get a refund and go back to the original hotel, but no. Apparently our 5 minutes of using wifi deserved to cost 45 euro and they would not refund us. Read moreHospedaria Cafe Pielas was a great surprise for us. The place it's located in a main avenue in Sintra, however we requested a "Quiet" bedroom and they gave us a bedroom in the back quiet and calm. The bedroom is really cozy, well decorated, with a little of everything we need and it was really clean. The Hospedaria Café Piela's its just downstairs and serves great meals and it was nice to have breakfast there for an affordable price. The owner and his family were really friendly and helped us to get a Free parking spot just next to the place we were staying. The location is perfect, with a beautiful view from Mountains & Castles, it's not in the Old Village, however it's few minutes walking distance. They also gave us a map and directions of the main touristic attractions to visit and suggestions where to have dinner around with great Portuguese meals and good price. They always have someone there to help us out and the "Check in" and "Check out" was really easy. Just read careful because they don't accept Credit Cards,...
