Cercas Velhas - Alojamento Local — Hotel in Vila do Bispo

We always use tripadvisor when looking for accommodation and value the reports other people give. Having had two great days in Sagres at the start of our holiday, we decided to return for our last night. The accommodation we stayed in originally was fully booked and we really liked the look of Cercas Vehlas but there were no reviews on tripadvisor. We decided to throw caution to the wind and book it up. Well all I can say is that we stumbled across a little gem. A little court yard with a handful of perfectly decorated little apartments, very modern, very clean, very tastefully decorated inside with complementary wine and fruit left for us by the owner Pedro. The key was in a security box so we could check in at our convenience and Pedro left us clear details in a text. The accommodation is close to the main strip on Sagres and Tonel beach. I can only imagine that the lack of reviews is because these idealic properties are relatively new on the scene but don't let that put you off, these little apartments are perfect and great value. Beautiful flat but with some limitations. The tiny courtyard offers little distance to the other 4 apartments that share it with their seating. A bit disturbing when you prepare your breakfast outside and hear all the details of the other guests. The flat itself is well laid out - especially the bathroom. Unfortunately, the drainage pipes in the bathroom and the kitchen are laid at too steep a gradient and this leads to bad smells. The price is too high for the...

The owner/manager was super helpful and contacted us beforehand to make arrangements. He also left us a bottle of wine and some fruit in the property that was a wonderful touch. The property was super clean and beautifully decorated.
