good room, balcony with safe enclosure, right by pedestrian area and 15 mn walk to beach. Elevator. No safe in room nor hotel; no parking (or rather, it is full) - there is paid parking right in front but limited to 4hours max (then need to go back and pay) and it is very full too. Huge beach, with shower/toilets amenities and snack bars all along. Was windy. No pool nor restaurant onsite. Stinky bathroom. No place at all to put toiletries in bathroom. Worse pillows ever had in my life. Fridge makes a lot of noise and keeps you up at night. Not much bathroom amenities but there is a good vanity mirror. Peeling paint.||Breakfast: poor selection, supposed to be from 7:30 to 10:30 however old stuff and empty before and doesn’t get replenished. Awful coffee however you can lineup for a single...
Read moreThe hotel is just a 5 minute walk to the beach and very close to lots of restaurants and bars however it’s location means you can’t hear all the noise of the street from your room which is really good. Rooms are a good size and cleaned daily which is nice however the pillows were quite uncomfortable. The fridge could be quite noisy but it had a freezer section which was nice to bring back ice cream ect. The staff were lovely and so helpful - we arrived before our room was ready but they allowed us to store our luggage in a locked room and get changed so we could go to the beach and the same on the last day. Rooms also had great air conditioning and great wifi. ||||Highly recommend as a simple, clean hotel in a...

Staff are very pleasant and helpful ,the refurbishment is lovely and the breakfast is a treat every day fresh fruit and a traditional cake as well as eggs and local sausages and much more . Well done Paiva. We will...
