Ezdan Tower 4 — Hotel in Doha

During our stay in Doha, we booked the Junior Suite at Ezdan Hotel for a three-month period, taking advantage of a special discount. The suite provided an excellent balance between comfort and functionality, making it a great choice for a long-term stay.

The Junior Suite is a spacious double room with a separate kitchenette—an impressive feature in a hotel setting. The kitchenette is fully equipped with essential appliances, including a stovetop, microwave, and a large stand-up fridge, which made meal preparation easy and convenient. Additionally, the inclusion of a capsule coffee machine with complimentary coffee was a pleasant touch, adding to the homely feel of the space. Some basic crockery was provided, which was sufficient for our needs.

The main room itself was comfortable and met our expectations for a hotel suite. The bathroom was well-maintained, featuring a bathtub with a shower, a toilet, and a bidet. Overall, cleanliness was commendable, with the housekeeping team ensuring the room was well-kept. The weekly cleaning service included fresh towels, which was a much-appreciated convenience.

One of the standout aspects of our stay was the excellent service provided by the hotel staff. In particular, we had a great experience with Ahsan at reception. From the moment we checked in, he made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. His professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly nature made the check-in process smooth, despite the large financial commitment required for our extended stay. Ahsan’s ability to lighten the mood with humor was a refreshing touch, helping to ease any stress we felt upon arrival.

Beyond his warm hospitality, Ahsan ensured that our best interests were looked after throughout our stay. He was always available to assist with any inquiries or concerns, making our experience with the Ezdan Hotel Group all the more pleasant. This place is suitable for long term stay, like service appartment.

Pros: Friendly, helpful and prompt staff

Free parking, 5 mins cab ride to City Center mall & corniche

Restaurants, baskin & robins, papa johns, small market, 24 hrs Starbucks and Costa coffee, barber shop, all located in the tower (huge plus)

Room service offers good food variety

Beautiful and huge swimming pool.

Full big size gym, plenty of treadmills, basket ball court, good size sports lounge,

Small grocery store opens til 2 am.

Nice big area around pool to walk around, decent size outdoor kids play area.

Studio rooms have kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator and microwave.

Cons:

I stayed in Executive Studio

Really outdated rooms.

Standing showers are horrible.

Only studio jr rooms (tiny room) are renovated with bath tub and 42' HDMI TV.

All other type of rooms need updated bathrooms

Really bad smell in all the rooms (I checked 4 diff rooms).

Old 32 inch TV with few channels (no hdmi)

Extremely slow wifi (free is only 1mb, paid "high speed" is 3mb?).

Suggestion: Instead of spending $$ on lobby, mgmt should...

Not bad hotel, no bar so no alcoholic beverages but there is a branded coffee shop in the hotel lobby.

The rooms are clean and the Beds are comfortable. Room service for food was good too. Good food but as expected a limited menu and the food was reasonably priced too.

Lifts do take a while so don’t be in a rush when getting in them and ensure you get in the correct ones, as you walk into the lift foyer from hotel lobby, the left side of lift “foyer” does even floors and the right side does odd floors. 👍

Breakfast is average, the tea and coffee took a while to come after ordering and you only get one cup at a time rather than a pot of them. There is no pork selection for those that wish to indulge and the WiFi is sketchy but when connected it’s fast.

Parking limited in hotel footprint but if you can get on the road out the front it’s free. We had no issues...
