Honestly this will be the last time I will be coming to the twisted olive, as nice as the food is I can not stand the dismal service. I feel like I am having to beg to have something so simple to be done which is just to take my order and ensure its delivered well. I waited a full 20 minutes to have my order taken because of staffs negligence. I went at around 8:30pm on a week day the restaurant was not busy, two tables outside and one table inside with people and I was alone. When I did call on the attention of the server she apologised said she had seen me come in and completely forgot to come back to me, understandable maybe she had a long day... I asked for the menu and then I waited a total of 10 minutes until I finally had someone come to my table to take my order. The waiters are all at the far end of the restaurant I was sitting by the entrance and yet again I was forgotten about - completely ignored. The second waiter apologised to me again and said she had forgot to come and take my order. Once my order did arrive I had started eating and a couple of minutes later the waitress comes to my table with a plate of avocados and apologised that they forgot to add it to my salad. This level of disorganisation and incompetence is simply unacceptable. 🤦🏼♀️
Genuinely at a loss for words. The entire experience was a masterclass in poor service and operational disarray. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone, nor will I...
Read moreDear Manager,
I recently visited your restaurant, which I believe has great potential, but unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by some concerns regarding the service, particularly from Mr. Sandro, a staff member working there.
I had called multiple times to reserve a table, only to be told that the restaurant was fully booked. However, upon arriving in person, I was surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty, with plenty of available tables.
What was even more disappointing was Mr. Sandro’s unprofessional behavior. He seemed to treat guests inconsistently, offering better seating choices to some while directing others, including myself, to less desirable areas. His attitude was dismissive, and his approach to customer service appeared to be based on favoritism rather than fairness and professionalism.
I spent over an hour at the restaurant, and during that time, I observed similar behavior toward other guests. It's clear that there is a need for better training in how to treat all customers with equal respect and courtesy.
I have taken photographs of the restaurant, both inside and outside, to document the situation. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these issues with your team. As it stands, I am unlikely to return, and I cannot recommend your restaurant unless there is an improvement in the overall customer experience.
To Mr. Sandro, I will NOT come back again based on what...

There are places where the food is the highlight. Then there are places where the service itself becomes part of the experience—Twisted Olives is one of those. You can feel it the moment you step in. The waiters aren’t just polite, they’re engaged—genuinely happy to be there, which only makes the whole experience better. It’s like the good vibes from happy customers feed into the staff, and then back into the atmosphere itself. A rare cycle, but when it happens, it changes everything.
Food-wise, the menu delivers across the board, but if there’s one thing that deserves a mention, it’s the fried chicken with waffles (or was it toast? Either way, it hit). A perfect mix of crisp, sweetness, and depth of flavor, done just right.
Location? Well tucked away in West Bay, next to Monoprix. What makes it feel even more intimate is the greenery surrounding it—it’s set slightly lower, so you get this feeling of being enclosed in your own little oasis, with plants rising around you. The kind of place that feels hidden, but in a good way.
Twisted Olives gets everything right. Service, food, ambiance—it all clicks together effortlessly. When a place feels this well-run, it shows. Five stars,...
