Grand Regal Hotel — Hotel in Doha

I booked this hotel for 4 nights on 13 May to 17 May 2 nights was fine on 3rd night I was outside from my hotel when I came back in my room around within 10 minutes someone knock the door I was in bathroom in few minutes I was going to open the door but there was 3 mans who open the door of my room without my permission & they came inside my room I heard that someone open my room door I didn't lock the bathroom door those guy's were coming inside I ask them wait who are you they said come outside you're inside the room & why are you not opening the door (they said this very aggressively) they said we are (CID) they didn't show me any ID or anything they were shouting at me & I was so scared & alone in my room they said show me your phone I ask them Sir what happened tell me if anything wrong I did. I can show you every document you want my return ticket my ID my passport any document you want I'm resident of UAE they didn't accept they said I told you show me your phone very angry I request them Sir at least tell me what's the matter why are you doing this they didn't tell me anything on that time I have two phone I show him my new phone which I bought recently he said unlock it I was so scared because of there behavior so i unlock my phone & give it to them I don't have any Sim on that phone he checked my phone & then he said you don't have WhatsApp I said sir I don't have any Sim of Qatar I'm just here for 4 nights then I'll go back Dubai he said you don't use WhatsApp I said sir I use WhatsApp but it's in my other phone he said show me that phone I was so scared they were so rude, aggressive & scary I show them that phone they said unlock this phone I was Sir please tell me what the issues I'm so scared when I was asking them Sir tell me the reason at least what's wrong I did then one of them was going to slap me then I unlocked that phone & I gave them he checked everything my gallery my Data my family pictures my WhatsApp chat's everything in my phone I was so scared I was asking them Sir please tell me what's wrong I did he said shut your mouth & stay quite they were checking my phone then my bag my everything at the end they said just forget about it whatever just happened now & they left my room I was so scared & I didn't sleep for whole night they don't even apologize they know that whatever's we did is totally wrong I was thinking they said we are promoting tourism we want people's from all over the world to Visit Qatar & this is what they are doing with the tourist 🥺I ask myself this question if any criminal will do this to me I'll report to police but if there police & intelligence agencies will do this then I have to inform whom 🥺 I went there to spend money enjoy my vacations but this is what I got & they did this to me 🥺😞😭 I WILL NEVER GO BACK QATAR 🇶🇦 IT'S NOT SAFE FOR TOURIST there police is not good #QATAR #QATARPOLICE #QATARCID #QATARMINISTRY #QATARTOURISM #BBC I don't want to say anything wrong about Qatar Doha City was beautiful but there police was so...

Dear friends , never opt this hotel if you can’t stay without internet. Its our last day of 10 days quarantine in this hotel. for the past 9 days including today we complaints each day about the internet speed issues in this hotel . All the time they will ask us to wait and they will assure that an IT guy will be sent to our room to check the issue. While our stay only 2 times IT guy came to oir room and asked us the issue, all that they do is just restart the modem which an LKG kid is aware of these days. They doesn’t care about how we stay for the 10 days inside a hotel room without any contact with outside world. As me and my friend didn’t have a Qatar sim we couldn’t use a data plan also. At last on our final day that is today (08-july-2021) we called the reception continuously 3 times within 2 hours and a guy came to our room and tried everything that he could on our laptop and he was not helpful, all that he could say to us was the internet in this hotel is like this because its fully packed with guests. So if you guys are opting this hotel for quarantine and if you cant spent time without internet don’t opt this hotel at all. Even the hotel IT guys don’t know what is the issue with internet. Never a hotel authority have give such explanation as internet connectivity issue is due to the high occupancy of guests, from that reply from the authority we can understand the quality of internet they provide for the guest. I would never have posted this review if the hotel authority had shown some kind of courtesy to us guests at-least by coming to the room and asking about our issues as we where not even able to get out of our room for 10 days of quarantine. Hotel authority really miss-used that benefit that guests wont get out and make a scene here due to the pandemic and quarantine rules.

I’ve stayed at Grand Regal Hotel several times now, and I keep coming back because it’s always a great experience.||The rooms are very spacious, with soft carpeted floors and huge mirrors from ceiling to floor. The beds are big, spotless white, and super soft — both the mattress and pillows are extremely comfortable. I always sleep really well here.||There’s a large desk with a lamp and a comfy chair, which is perfect for me since I always bring my laptop and like to get a bit of work done when I can. I also love the dining area, which makes the space feel more like a studio apartment than a typical hotel room. The bathroom is big and clean, with a nice bathtub for relaxing. There’s also plenty of closet space, which I appreciate.||The blackout curtains and full-length mirrors really complete the room — it’s stylish, private, and very comfortable.||The lobby is huge and beautiful, and there’s a business area that’s great for sitting down to work or just unwind. Plus, the location is super convenient — it’s close to the subway, so getting around is easy.||What makes this hotel special is the amazing staff. Champa, who assisted during check-in, is always so friendly and professional. She’s very attentive and makes sure everything is perfect. She even checks in from time to time and insists on helping whenever she can — it’s clear she genuinely cares. And Rafi, who handles room cleaning, does an excellent job. The room is always spotless and fully stocked, and he’s always willing to help with anything we need.||Overall, I’ve had nothing but great experiences here.
