Green Garden Hotel — Hotel in Doha

This is a 3 star hotel through and through. I got a large room and everything worked however it was not exactly clean and I had to ask for daily room service. I also had to ask for towels and I only received one towel first time and two towels and two bottles of water the following time. I was locked out of the room every night and the card access had to be re-validated. They told me it was for safety reasons.. Minor inconvenience but still not the usual practice. I got the parking by the entrance and it was as close to valet parking and I had to leave the car key at the front desk just in case they needed to move the car overnight. They have onsite restaurant but not sure if it was open while I was there. The reception had limited seating area with no TV or any other amenity to speak of. Onsite security was courteous and helpful. Access to local cheap restaurants and convenience stores was plentiful. There were people chilling around in the area seemingly not doing much and some people may not feel comfortable with that situation. Access to the hotel is perfect from the airport or the highway and very convenient to get to. If you don't want to stay at an airport hotel this could be a good cheap option. Free parking is available in the basement. There are lots of other hotel in the area if you want to stay at this location for business. Doha, Qatar is a great place to visit and lots of options to stay and go about your business and this hotel is one of the cheapest among the 4-5 hotel of same kind. lousy service from the receptionist Being in the soccer world cup season, we arrived from a trip to check in and it turns out that booking app did not send confirmation there fore no reservation was generated, since we had a confirmation number, the reception manager tells us your reservation is canceled and His card didn't go through, he began to tell us that we didn't have money to pay and to get out of there, it was 7 pm and we were worried about where we would spend the night in a city we didn't know, we told him look, we're tourists, help us, what can we do? ??, here we had the money to pay, his position never changed, he just told us to get out of here, for this we already annoyed told him that this is the treatment for tourists, just tell us that there is no money and send us to the streets at this time. It turns out that 2 other reservations arrived with the same problem, they had a confirmation email and the hotel did not have the confirmation, we kept saying that the problem was theirs, like 3 reservations at that time with the same problem, until they saw that, they called their manager and He confirmed that the problem was on his part, he helped us get accommodation in another hotel until then, but the person in charge of reception had lousy service, if it were up to him he would have left us on the street in a country we don't know, that was our experience...

At the first place, this is my first time to heard this hotel, I went there to celebrate the birthday of my friend, at the restaurant in the green garden hotel which is I never visit that place, I went there alone to wait my friends in the lobby area which is very small, when I enter I talk to the security and to the receptionist t I ask them where’s the restaurant he told me in the mezzanine I ask the security of I can stay for a while in the reception which is I will not stay longer in the lobby he said okay and I ask also the wifi just to mssge my friend he gave me a wifi password,after 5 mins to mins he told me, that I'm Not allowed to stay there, and his very rude the way he talk to me and he said I'm not allowed to stay there and he said I'm lucky because he give me wifi at the first place never I never experienced to others hotel he insist to me that not allowed to stay there! Which is they never understand that I'm a girl and i will not stay longer at the first place I never know that they have policy that not allowed to stay in the lobby he should tell me when I enter but not like that I'm sitting just for 5 to 10 mins and his very rude the way he talk to me, he don't know how to work in the customer service… please do something on this I never see or experience this kind of attitude!
