Omssiyat restaurant — Restaurant in Doha

This was my first visit and hopefully not last.

The servers were all very nice especially the younger Arab guy there. He took good care of us and was very attentive towards the children. Some small hiccups happened (forgot something we ordered) but it wasn't too bad.

The seating is spacious and offers different privacy settings. Bathrooms were super clean and had changing space for babies. The place is super sunny as it is on the rooftop of the building. It will feel slightly warm at the beginning as all that glass conveys some heat but once the time was closer to sunset, it was ok.

Coming to the food, everything we tried ranged from good to really good in terms of flavor and quality, and the portions are generous. They offered super fluffy complementary flat bread which tasted good.

Something I was very surprised about is how good the coffee was. We had cappuccino and it was professionally made and very smooth tasting. The crepe was also of high quality with really good chocolate used.

Parking can be an issue though. The restaurant is in a building called imperial suits and it wasn't clear if we could park under the building itself, we found very close by parkings though.

Regarding the cost, we ordered 4 mains, drinks, 1 dessert, 1 salad, coffee and tea and the bill was a bit over 400. I found it...

اول تجربة في هذا المطعم وكانت سيئة جدا في بوفيه رمضان. الأكل تم تجهيزه بوقت مبكر جدا واللي أثر على جودة الطعام. حرفيا لم أستسغ شيء من الطعام، كل صنف كنت أحاول أن أنذوقه أتركه على الطاولة مثل ما هو. لا شيء على الإطلاق، سواء مقبلات، حلويات، اطباق رئيسية. طبعا المفروض يكون في كبسه باليوفيه، لكن اللي كان موجود عبارة عن صدر أرز وعليه دجاج مشوي وناشف مع انه بيشبه كل شي ما عدا الكبسه.

طبعا الاصناف غير حقيقية مقارنة بالأعلان، برياني مش موجود، صياديه مش موجوده، باشا وعساكره مش موجوده، فاصولياء مش موجوده. شوربة الجزر مش موجودة. أم علي عبارة خبز يسبح في الحليب.

صراحة اعلان غير مطابق للواقع وأعطيتكم نجمتين فقط على الجلسة...
